We're playing awful right now, I want to win it tonight because I think you'll beat us.

Really ?

Yeah of course. I think they will win. Although we'll have to give them the walk of honour if they do indeed get crowned champions tonight.

I think they'll beat us on Sunday regardless (sorry to be so pessimistic), so the thought of them winning at the Emirates and being crowned there does not sit well with me.

I agree with Ruiney, on current form I struggle to envisage us beating anyone in the top 6 away from home.

I forgot about that, so what we really need is for them to lose both tonight and on Sunday shame, just can't see that happening

Everybody should want United to win, the only positive that came out of a Spurs victory yesterday is that this situation would arise.

I know Villa are scrapping at the bottom but I can't see anything but a win tonight for Utd. There would be some serious hairdryer treatment from red nose if they didn't

Utd will win and win handsomely tonight (3-0)

we will have to give them a guard of honour and prepare yourself for SAF making RVP the captain for the day...

aside from that I hope Utd clinch it tonight as we need the points more than them on Sunday. that said, I can see it being a draw. which would be ok providing that we then win our remaining 3 games.

I think i am going to cry

Guard of honour or the humiliation of them winning the league at our place?

Wake up people. The latter is by far the worst option. Thank fully they play Villa tonight. They always fall over for United.

If we win it today then you'll have to give a Guard of Honour next week. I actually can't wait to see that, I suspect all Arsenal players will be gloomy. Wish Santos was still here He'd have been so happy

"In 1991, with Arsenal having won the league because of Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, the United players gave Arsenal’s champions a guard of honour onto the Highbury pitch,"

------

Sorted then, we gave your lot one so you owe us

This guard of honour its not compulsary ? I don't remember any others.

posted on 22/4/13

we would want it so we should give one...

its times like that that make you appreciate the good times more...

The guard of honour is tradition and a mark of respect. That's why we should ignore it.

To be honest, a guard of honour would be more humiliating. At least if they won it at the Emirates our players can walk off, our fans can go home and leave United to it.
As said previously in this article, if a Guard of Honour is forthcoming prepare for RVP to walk out as Captain for the game.
This would be rubbing salt in the wound moreso in my opinion.
