I did the predictor using the Championship mental results rule and had us 6th even with a defeat to Cardiff - For the record I recon we'll draw.

On another note I also did the Premier League predictor and Stoke join Reading & QPR in the Champo. All in all I hope I suddenly become good at predicting.

Personally i'll be keeping my eye on the Forest and Leicester games and hoping they both get beat. That way anything we get out of Cardiff is a bonus. As long as they both lose we're in the driving seat. I think we can get something out of Cardiff but i also think Leicester and Milwall could do us a big favour. It certainly isn't all over if we lose, it could be but its not for certain. Its gonna be a tense fortnight thats for sure!

I have us in sixth but I am an optimistic guy Hopefully Sordell and Craig Davies can get a bit of time together also. Nervous times.

I don't think Leicester and Forest will reach 70 points so a win and a draw just might do it!

Big big weekend which starts on Friday with the Leicester/Watford game. The whole scenario will have changed come ten o' clock.
Hope we can spring a shock at Cardiff although not expecting it really, hope I am wrong fellas.

I hope we do it but not banking on it. We will just have to wait and see.

I did it and have it all over this weekend, we lose and Forest and Leicester win.

In this crazy season, right now before tonight's match kicks off with two weekends of the season left, Millwall could be either promoted or relegated. Bonkers!

OK, it would take a pretty rum sequence of results for Millwall to make it now. Same goes for Charlton. So we focus on Forest and Leicester: well the good news is that they cannot both win on the last day of the season, and the bad news is that they cannot both lose either. I reckon it will go like this:

Forest win one and draw one
Leicester draw two
We win one and draw/lose the other

That puts us in the play-offs with the lowest ever points total to achieve such a thing. I get to attend the away leg in the semis (all three options in range for me) and the final, because Mrs Essex owes me big time after I went to see Il Divo with her on Friday for the SECOND TIME and that's what you call taking one for the team!
