He's a Celtic legend

I remember when Fergus arrived at your club and the mess you were in.

He was portraid in the media as something of a joke figure but went about things in a dignified way never rising to numerous provocations.

You could do worse than him for the flag unfurling.

Hes a legend Wee Fergus and he would have sorted out the godawful GB instead of praising them to win votes like Lennon!! and he would NEVER have appointed Lennon as manager

Ritchie, GTF.

Is there anything to do with our club you can't bring back as a personal attack on Lennon and our beloved club.

Henrik hes so fecken wrong for our club its unbelievable !!! He spends more time in the stand than in the dugout and pandering to the bigots of the GB is the final straw for me he needs to go NOW!!!

He saved us from the same fate that Rangers fans have had to endure over the past season and a half.

He built up Parkhead from a crumbling mess to.. Well.. Not such a crumbling mess (but which now allows us to have one, if not the best European atmospheres)

He brought in charlatans like Di Canio, Cadete etc and also made sure he didn't bankrupt us to pay for their egos (although not popular at the time)

He left a legacy which has been continued on by Lawell.

He's certainly one of the most important figures Weber to have graced out club, and deserves the recognition he's due

In what way did he pander to them, you mug!

Green Brigade have been phenomenal this season, but you wouldn't know that playing golf.

It's clear the Hoops aren't as high on your priorities.

Stop trolling, please. It's painful mate. Not even the other side would troll like you about Neil Lennon and the brilliant job he has done, you're fooling nobody.

You're a clown.

Nor was WGS apparently, invited back many a time.

Its true I would rather play golf than watch the pash that is the SPL Henrik. As for the GB they are a fecken disgrace!!! I was there that day of the Poppy Day walkout and they were rightly soundly booed by the more sensible amongst our support!!

fergus was overtly non-celtic minded. No, he won't be invited back...that's for sure.

What's that got to do with this season though?

Yer obsessed with the Champs.

I couldn't gie a fck about them. I just like a wee wind up. Fergus' comments on the Celtic-minded always guarantees a few bites.

True Patrick Bateman. Only a 'non-Celtic minded' man would have saved Celtic from liquidation. If only he had been as passionate about Celtic as Sir David Murry and Craig were/are about the now liquidated Rangers Football Club eh?

posted on 22/4/13

McCann done what Whyte and Murray couldn't do. Make over £30 million from a football club. Fergus would not have came near us if he thought his precious pound was at risk.
