Lol, I've never filtered anyone. I'm not even sure how to actually. Maybe between them they would've scored the same or maybe more..but that's two players and they definitely wouldn't have made us so dangerous from set pieces the way RVP has.
I think Hernandez is best coming off the bench and only starting certain games, but time will tell with Welbeck. He has the potential but his finishing needs to improve.

Bayern fans hate Manuel Neur - they even protested at his purchase.
But they cheer every time he makes a save!
Come on RC, surely even Robben's mum struggles to stop herself slapping him. He's out there on his own in slappability. Why won't you let yourself see this?

Hernandez is a super sub and dont think he has that same impact as a starter.
Welbeck is a very odd one I see bags of potential but dont know where he will end up playing. I dont think he has the goal scoring ability to be a striker but doesnt look right on the wing either.
I think Welbeck will be that kind of player we use in games we need high energy and pressing higher up demonstrated against Real this season. I think our fans are expecting goals galore from him but I feel SAF has accepted he wont give us a massive goal return but instead use his pace, energy and power for the good of the team.

He wouldnt be a bad option but how often have we signed players who rejected us? I cant think of any to be honest and Robben is getting older now we should be looking at long term options and looking at a younger player with bags of potential.
Robben would still cost around 20M and would want wages of 100k a week, a lot of money still for a player who doesnt particularly like the physical side of the game.
Robben wouldn't cost anywhere like 20m. 8-10m at the most. We shouldn't worry about wages. We missed out on two world class talents like Hazard and Moura. That is A big blow.

We matched Hazard and Moura's wages. We must worry about wages after all FFP is kicking in soon. I do think we will go for a "Hazard" like player this summer though.
Not many Hazard like players available. Isco, Rodriguez, Lamela, Muniain are the only one's that are realistic. I do hope we sign Robben.

I wouldnt bet on it mate very very unlikely. I think we will sign someone like James Rodriguez or Gaitan.
Seeing Robs predictions we'll end up signing Jamie Mackie, Robert Snodgrass
I hope we don't sign Gaitan - he is just not good enough.
Munian is my first choice ( i have been shouting this for two seasons now) but there is no doubt that he has regressed a lot at Bilbao.

It all depends how we want to play next season and if Rooney stays or goes. At present we dont need to buy anyone if everyone is fit and playing. If Nani and Rooney leave then we will need to buy.
I think SAF wants a winger who can play attacking midfielder, someone like Hazard or Oscar, not a traditional Valencia like winger.

I'll be honest mate iv not seen much of him but people have sung his praises. I think we missed out on Carzorla personally he would have been perfect for us.
