Serious question.
Why do you like Giroud?
Why do you hate him? I learned that we are not playing the tippi tappa football for years now. I expect us to change our tactic around Giroud at least for some opponents. Wenger said exactly this for a few days. He could give you another option. Unfortunately Dubbed that didnt work out for us or with not the efficiency we need. That is not alone Giroud's fault I think. Our midfield is not creative anymore (missing Cesc so much), wing play non existent for most of the games. We hardly get the ball into the box especially when we are playing opponents who built up a wall and being good organised.
We are not playing with pace or urgency most of our games. We are not using his aerial ability even.
I dont expect Giroud to dribble around defenders like Messi. But I do think he can be useful if you have the right tactic and play him alongside a mobile striker if you arent able to cross the ball from both wings. I do think that Giroud is only a scapegoat for not competing about any trophy and playing for 4th place yet again. I wont give up on a player who scored somehow 18 goals coming from Lique 1 and being in his first season. In my opinion in this average Arsenal team with all he aspects I mentioned he has a decent first season. And yes he is being too wasteful with his chances. Yes I give you that but he is not the reason for all the mess at Arsenal.
People are so fickle. So after one game where he was good (although should have been sent off) he's now the best CM in the world? Not having that.
Giroud is better than Gervinho or Theo Walcott(this season).

Pretty sure most people here will have seen Schweinsteiger play before tonight tbh, which makes 'after one game' a bit redundant.
Anyway, I wasn't saying he's the best in the world. Just really like him. That's all really.
Schweinsteiger is a world class player..Why would he sent off? Just standing firm a team of divers?

Xavi is no longer the best midfielder in the world and been on the decline since 2011.
