Barca weren't at their best, Bayern were. Simple as. Without the shady goals, it's 2-0 which isn't much of a distance.

Bayern will almost certainly go through but to suggest they're unstoppable and Barca are finished is naive.

And as for Bayern being my newly adopted team, I'd always back a German side over a Spanish one.

but we werent outplayed by chelsea so it wasn't really end of the world. we knew we were beaten by an inferior team just like bayern were beaten in the final by a much inferior team.

You're quite right, Bayern put in a good performance. One good performance. Barcelona were nowhere near their best and it showed an awful lot in that game.

Maybe, when both teams are on top form, Bayern would still win, however, that doesn't mean that Barcelona are done and Silk is quite right that they are not far off having the best team all round again.
