If it were court, you say there'd been a comtempt of court as jurors had been influenced. I hope this is the case. Get the ban thrown out, then the club ban him for 6 games as a point of principle. This will highlight The FA's incompetency, and bias, when enforcing the rules. Whilst showing the club feel what Luis did was wrong and deserves some form of punishment.
