Sorry guys, but I'm a Hornet for the night!

Likewise, and Watford have just gone 1-0 up.

Make that 2-0 - and what an absolutely fantastic goal it was too!

Alright Rev, this is turning out to be a good night for us! In fairness, Leicester were the better team, but could have been 3-0 down at half time. Reminds me of us.

Dont think i can handle all this pressure......

To quote Miami Fox last week, "I fancy us against Watford....." Lol

To be fair chaps, not even you lot can disagree that Leicester have given as good as they've got this evening and 2-0 is by no means a fair reflection of the game.

We'll see you at your place next time around.

Just try not to get your best defender sent off against them after 2 minutes and you have a fighting chance....

2-1! (Although it was offside!)

^ No it wasn't.

Er, no it wasn't.

I know.

This won't end 2-1.

No, Watford will probably score. As you know, our recent form is a disgrace.

It's the hope that kills you though.

As a "neutral" , it looks like Leicester are more likely to score again, and on balance they deserve to be level at least.

I think it will be 2-2 but that won't be enough for us or Forest if Bolton draw and palace win tomorrow (assuming Bolton beat Blackpool at home which I'm sure they will)

Oops. Should be 2-2 I meant to say. Watford are all over the place.

That's the thing I love about this league - you simply cannot predict any result. Even if we lose tonight we could go into the final game with a chance.

I know the money would be worth having, but the prospect of being tonked every week in the Prem almost makes staying in the Championship worthwhile - it's easily the most competitive league in Europe.

No Hallgreenfox, it doesn't. We need the money. Not getting promoted this season presents a real problem when FFP starts.

posted on 26/4/13

Yeah, I know - I'm not naive and it's all about the cash.

But let's be honest, we're not going to make it and we need to start planning accordingly.

Besides, I thought that FFP was phased in and had already started? Given the way our club is financed, our biggest worry is not FFP but Top and co walking away.

FFP starts next season. We have to cut our losses from 30m to 8m by end of next season to avoid a transfer embargo the following season. We were one of only 2 clubs that voted against it in the championship

Well I won't deny that's what I was looking for tonight, but Leicester were very unlucky not to get anything, and what turned out to be the winning goal was a speculative fluke (albeit spectacular).

The best team definitely lost.
