TBF that was the other point he made. Although worryingly Barca now seem to be working round Messi everyone knows Xavi is the real heart beat and they can't see a real replacement for him ance once he retires Barca a screwed. I think Iniesta is a game changer but like my Catalan friend said, he lacks Xavi's brain, and so do Cesc and Thiago.
His other point was about how the players have fallen out with Pep and how Pep never once visited Tito in hospital while in New York, but that's another story.
In other news, it looks like Max Clifford is going daaaan.

"When Messi came on as a sub in the PSG second leg, he hardly did a thing yet we were told he was the one who made all the difference which was utter bollox"
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that
1982, yeah I've heard that.
I think Iniesta is a game changer, I just don't think he's the player people has made him out to be. Still quality though.
Still, for all of their problems I wouldn't mind United having these 'problems'.
One thing that is overlooked about Messi coming on was the lift he gave the players. As soon as he came on they upped their game and it was his brilliant pass to Villa that led to the goal.
It wasn't vintage Messi, but he was hugely influential.
So if those things pan out then our striking options will be..
RVP
Lewandowski
Welbeck
-----------------
All number 9s
That's what you are missing unless you think we are going to suddenly start playing a flat front 2 of Lewa and RVP with Kags behind them
Chelsea only have Ba and Torres and struggle to keep them both happy ffs.
We do not need Lewa, unless we sell RVP and Chich or Welbs
Selling Rooney or playing him in midfield makes zero difference on the reasoning to buy Lewa
You're not grasping the difference between an out an out forward and a number 10 whatsoever

Um, I think i've already explained that Hernandez may be going as well as Rooney in CM.
RVP has played #10 this season a few times and will most likely be rotated with Welbeck and Lewandowski throughout the season with RVP maybe playing #10 behind Lewandowski or playing #9 when RVP is rested.
Your Chelsea comparison is wrong because they play with 3 fluid players behind one striker while we'll most likely continue with a 4-4-2.
The boss seems to want Lewandowski. Surely he has a plan?
Anyway, this debate is pretty non-solveable because one side is entrenched in their views and the other is also entrenched in their views!
I'm off home Macca and co. Hopefully there is a drunken article on here tomorrow night
United haven't had a decent striker partnership since Rooney and Saha.
Tevez and Rooney was pretty good but wasn't a proper striker partnership in a traditional 442 as one of them would often come out wide.
The big difference is that Hernandez seems relatively happy being a sub. Lewandowski and RVP would both demand to be first choice. If the both start then there is no room for a proper no10 so where does Kagawa play, on the LW? Playing RVP as a no10 behind Lewandowski would be such a waste.
And Rooney is not the answer in CM. Instead of Lewandowski who we don't need, get a CM, then RVP can still be our main man and we still have Rooney, Welbeck and Hernandez as other forward options which is more than enough.
Fergie is allergic to cm's and loves strikers. It really won't surprise me if we get another striker and don't sign a cm.
