Grayson had moderate success at the club, but ultimately under achieved which is why he was sacked.

Warnock was a disaster, which is why he was sacked.

Macca lost 5 games in a row and although it was harsh, it did seem like he'd lost the plot a bit so was sacked.

Football fans are fickle and no one was really influenced by Bates. Leeds fans liked Grayson because we were winning games and he was a local. They didn't like Warnock because the football was terrible and his press dealings were shocking.

If Grayson had been losing games, then the fans wouldn't have liked him. They took to him more because he's from Leeds, but that happens at every club - people love a local.

Nothing to do with Bates for me.

This is not intended to be an argument about the respective merits of Grayson and Warnock.

It always ends up that way because people are stupid and have been manipulated by Ken Bates.

People who are just carry on banging on about how terrible Warnock was and how great Grayson was are lost causes.

But it may make the odd person think, and that's enough.

Well, you never know, if like Grayson he'd been given till the end of season he might well have, would have been one hell of a sight harder but he might have!.

You've tried to make this a dig at Grayson while insinuating that any defence of Grayson is supporting Bates.



Grayson got better results than Warnock he had less quality to take on as opponents but the quality available to sign for us was also less too; and in the end he nearly blew it but didn't, we got promoted. He put Howson on as a sub in the Bristol game and he scored. Signed to take us up to the Championship Objective met.

Warnock signed to keep us up during a takeover season. Let's say Job done (with McDermott's help.)

Just support McDermott the other two are former Managers. I hope he's better than both.
