I'll be honest I have no idea. But judging by the title of this article, you need ALOT of help in the marketing department.

Thanks for that wonderman.

We've not decided on what we're calling it yet, and I wanted people to know its off topic before they start commenting, complaining

Is it going to be one of those compare apps? If so you are too late. www.nextag.co.uk

Off topic app? I like it!!!
People get a link to a retailer and when you click on it there's a page about the history of squirrels....
On to a winner there my friend...👍

Try going on Dragons Den, that funny Greek bloke and the miserable Scottish one seem to have lots of retail contacts. They will give you money too.

So basically you've come up with an idea, got no idea what to do about it, and want everyone else to do the hard work for you? Does that about cover it?

Branson would have an heart attack if he read this. Lazy bar stewards

What exactly are you asking for?

posted on 29/4/13

dunno what your app is, although I could probably hazard a pretty good guess, and if it is what i'm thinking, I know for a fact that others have thought of it too.

if you can get a large retailer interested in it this early in the lifecycle then great, but I suspect you won't get any traction with them until you have a working proof of concept.

the company I work for does app development. I won't put contact details directly on here for all the bots to trawl, but you can find them at www.scl.co.uk

I have had an idea for making £1m. Can somebody do it all for me?

I was eating a packet of salt & vinegar hula hoops the other day, and found a black one in the packet. I excitedly read the packet, thinking I'd come across a 'find the unique hula hoop and win a million quid' competition. After discovering there was no competition, I realised it was in fact just a manky crisp

With respect, searching for help on a football forum doesn't suggest the greatest level of business acumen

I guess I opened myself to all this by parking for help on ja606. The main advice I could do with is which app developer to use?

TOOR, thankfully it's a much better idea than just a comparison site.

19th- love to know what you think it is?

*asking

Winston - this isn't the only place I've asked for help but I'm pretty sure I remember reading on here about someone else who created an app

Kamikaze - already applied for dragons den, waiting to here back

I'll tell you which one to use for 60% equity.

Have you tried getting a list of app developers and doing some research on each one? You could even get in touch with them and see what they can offer you. I'm no business genius, but it seems quite an obvious starting point

To come on an anonymous forum, where anyone could tell you anything, for advice on what for yourselves is something that you need very sound advice on, is asking for trouble....

Stay out of this T1 I want my 60%

posted on 29/4/13

Depends how complex your app is to be - if it isnt too complex - develop it yourselves.

Do you have any development background? I would advise you pick some up, otherwise put an advert out on the internet.

What are you going to have this developed using?

join and android forum and ask on there perhaps.

I'll help you for 49% equity, and seeing as I've already given you lots of really useful advice, should be the match winner....

Stay away from TOOR, he's into hostile takeovers - haven't you seen him do it on every thread?

posted on 29/4/13

You really believe that this is my only bit of research?

I'm just using this as I might find one that people have used before. Obv. I'd check them out first.

To be honest if you've got nothing to add then I'd rather you didn't!!

posted on 29/4/13

I've offered you help for a very respectable 60% and you've ignored me. You've come onto a football forum for developer help when there and plenty of developer forums and you generally don't have a clue what you're doing. For that reason I'm out.

Cheers for your help anyway TOOR

I will top these Scouse runts offers with offering you help for 48.99% equity.

As you can see, it is significantly lower than TOOR's and term...'s
