Is this positivity from Webbo?
Are you feeling alright?
If its a nominal fee that amounts to fug all then I say lets have him. Seems a great lad, terrific attitude and if it wasnt for his injuries he'd have broken into the Chelsea squad. Talent is undoubted, but injuries are a major concern. if we could get him fit he'd be an excellent captain and first choice centre back!
Wonder if he will play centre back or right back?
I'm guessing Halford will start at centre back next year but I wonder if Ward will sign and accompany him there or be back up to Hutchinson? or if Hutchinson will play right back?
We need more than 1 right back so you better tell your Billy to go and get Jara too
Great ability, yes; but if anyone so much as sneezes near his knee he's out for 3 months
I'd prefer Jara - the best thing McLeish did for Forest
Well he didn't do much else
And Webbo
Just because you feel left out!
Left out?
What juice you on?
McLeish does deserve credit for punting Camp out too and finally giving darlow the no.1 jersey. I'd agree that Jara would be great business, think Hutchinson and Halford can offer cover at right back when and if need be with the two of them viewing with Ward next year for the centre back berths. Collins fourth choice!!
What juice you on?

I didn't know we still lived in the 1980's
Also wouldn't surprise me if Collins left and Cohen will be promoted to Captain. i think he would be a great captain but needs to shout a bit more, we miss someone in the team like McKenna.
In fact seeing as webbo still lives in the 1980's go to the end of the decade Webbo and see if you can find McKenna
Would be an England regular if he was healthy.
Risky signing. But we've got the advantage that Hutchinson probably trusts our physios, and they know what he needs.
and they know what he needs.

No doubt he'd be playing in the premiership given he was injurey free. It all depends if he can stay injury free.
On the otherhand, hes not had any trouble with the knee that he retired on. The other knee was exacerbated by the chelsea staff which knocked him back half a season which wasnt exactly due to his fitness, and any knocks that hes picked up inbetween are probably partly accountable for being out for so long.
We all know, if theirs any manager to get a player up to fitness its billy. Hopefully this mismatch of onsets for hims by him and after a full pre-season, might be a star player.
Then again, might do a tyson
Worth a punt though
Good sum up Monkey
Would have to agree, it is a risk but it is a calculated one and if it pays off it really could be a massive improvement to our defence!
Hopefully he didn't cost too much either!
Hutch no doubt has bags of potential, however nine games over the season tells a story, with only five senior appearances before this season I just think it isn't worth it. If our medical team think/know different then I'd happy go with it. Like others have said, if we could get Jara as well then so be it.
He's a very good player but I doubt he'll be fit for more than a few games a season.
The lad was returning from a very serious injury this season so I think he is worth the risk especially. With a good pre-season under his belt he could turn in to a fantastic addition to the team.
It's also been clear from the games he has played that he is totally committed to the cause.
Depends, of course, ultimately on the price! Do we know what this was?
What's the source of this rumour? I'd be happy with him and Jara signing next season. Get rid of Collins (or keep as back up), don't bother going back for Ward as we can do better. Keep Halford as utlity man. Sign two top class centre backs - a ball player and a strong, tough tackling type. It's possible either Collins or Ward could have been decent alongside a quality partner who would lead the way. But to play both of them, or even with Halford just doesn't work. They're too similar. Ayala probably has the potential but he's too inexperienced.

I just ask your Mrs, Webbo as she is very "satisfied" by Billy's progress.
No wonder you didn't like him last time around
