that kind of thing has been happening for years now and usually its not the scottish champions but every other club from scotland who ventures into europe
Don't get me wrong if Celtic were in our position tonight I'd probably have wanted them to get put out but at the end of the day we need to start doing something that will help all scottish teams get better results in europe!
Were so close to getting to the stage where it is just going to be our tiny little country with 2 teams a league and no european football atall. Time to start looking at how some of the other smaller countries are making football work.
4 divisions in Scotland. That's a joke, should be 2 at the most. How many wee p1ss poor teams are there around Stirling for example. Forget their history, it's time for these wee teams to amalgamate and try and have a decent team or two in all our major cities/counties. If not Scottish football will be just that...history.
The guy in the studio based his argument on glancing at a Record headline the other day. I think he interpreted it as Goodwillie cannot walk the streets of Glasgow without getting stabbed. It came across as a half-hearted attempt to controversial so I turned it over to Traynor (which was funnier).
Don't worry about them.......when the EPL bubble burst's and it will, they'll be in exactly the same boat as us.........possibly worse given their leverage levels v supporter bases..........to ensure this happy event happens sooner......petition your MP about Rupert's monopoly on British football broadcasting...........it makes the EPL feel far more important than it really is and at the end of the day we should be able to buy our televised football from whomsoever we choose.
