Tim Vickery our man overseas still thinks he's good and still thinks we have a good chance of signing him.

To be honest his scoring record is pretty poor - 28 in 72 for Internacional and 3 in 16 for Brazil.

That appears to only be league goals. If you look on his wiki page at his overall stats it looks a lot better

2010 - 35 apps - 12 goals
2011 - 51 apps - 38 goals
2012 - 43 apps - 24 goals
2013 - 14 apps - 8 goals

overall - 143 - apps - 82 goals

and yes at full internation 16 apps 3 goals isn't amazing but he did get 6 goals in 5 apps at the olympics.

Not saying I think he's the best striker ever, just that his record is a lot better than at first glance.

I'd rather see a proven Premiership Striker.. along the lines on Benteke or Michu than Damiao.. or at least european. From what ive seen online when watching internationale im not convinced anymore he can do a job for us.
