Iniesta's not had a great season, but he can still glide past players for fun and has an elegant touch and great passing ability. His productivity this season has been poor, but he is still one of the best midfielders in the world. Not the best, but one of.

I think on here some people overrate him, but others underrate him. It was always going to be a struggle coming back from 4-0 down against a team of Bayern's quality, but sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say that the opposition were thoroughly better than you in every part of the pitch and as a team, were the superior side.

Well, Batman, you are some other tools on here seem to think Iniesta is $hite, when he is quite obviously one of the best players of his generation.

Yet, didn't you say koscielny was world class the other day?

This type of logic is why Arsenal fans are often called deluded.

Spurs fans are the most deluded they think Lionel Bale is the best player in the world.

Look I like Iniesta, I think he is the closest thing to Zidane. But didn't Ronaldo go missing yesterday, Messi last week in Germany?

Anyway to suggest Iniesta is on Ronaldo's level let alone Messi is ridiculous. The only guy that comes close to them three is Xavi, but his fitness issues, and age, I don't think he'll be as good as he was a couple years ago.

Where was Xavi tonight?

I do think he isnt 100% fit either. He is carrying an injury for some months now.

"Anyone who is a goalscorer instantly gets more recognition than a player in a different position. "

Yep I think I can agree with this comment. I personally do not judge players on goals alone not even strikers.

He's brilliant ttliv. No doubt about that. His ability to slide past players, vision to see a pass, and set his team mates through on goal is outstanding. Just don't think he's better than Messi and Ronaldo. Probably the third best player in the World, maybe ahead of Xavi.
