He has had some bad games but far outweighed by the good.
I agree he looks a real good player, especially going forward, but can defend too
Considering the difficult job he has, Westwood has been outstanding
If we stay up and Saturday will be so important then if we can build on this year and buy and sell well, the future is Claret and Blue
Otherwise it's with with the Blouse

hopefully Lambert can use his contacts in Germany to get a couple in, and not just from Crewe lol
aye right..
Dortmund have a few players Iwould like but cant see it somehow
players in Germany, France, Holland so much cheaper than in England
Mean the good players not the really good ones, am sure Vlaar could tempt a couple of his mates from Holland as well
Why the fack do you support the mighty dons?
stayed way up north when I was younger and my old man took me when i was 4, followed them since then for my sins

Fraserborough?!?!
Are you a heroin addict?
not when I was 4 no I wasnt
dont think I will ever re visit that place
Yeah, its horrible. Peterheeed is even worse
I reckon the team Lambert put out on Monday was a very promising one, all round. But ... he's said he wants cover for every position, and I think that's the way he'll approach things; strength in depth. Westwood/Delph/Sylla look good in midfield, but he needs something more, at least as good and hopefully better. Likewise defence. Really good left backs are rare, Baker and Bennett have filled in but I think he'll look to strengthen there if he can. We've got a good attacking line, but what happens if we get injuries? Have we anybody in the reserves ready to step up? Possibly, possibly not.
If he can line up players of the right quality, I think we could see quite a big clear-out in the summer.
Csnt see a massive clear out..nzogbia, bent maybe dunne
Burke will move up imo snd fonzy just out on loan isnt he?
Wouldnt mind flamini or someone like that
I was watching the match on the tv the other day and a bloke next to us went 'Who's that Lowton for Villa?', I replied 'Agbonlahor...'
Clearout: definitely Ireland, Hutton, Makoun, Delfouneso; probably Bent; possibly Given, Lichaj, Herd, Holman, Albrighton, N'zogbia
Of the possibles I think Given is the most possible, N'zogbia the least.
Lowton has been a revelation in what has otherwise been a disastrous season. Lowton and Benteke have been superb buys and credit where it is due- Lambert.
However, for every Benteke and Lowton there has been a Bennett and a Westwood- I guess you can't have it all.
A clearout is needed for sure. For me:
Out- Delfouneso (has had years to break through), Marshall, Hutton and Dunne.
I say this ONLY if we can get in quality defenders to replace Hutton and Dunne. Like for like or better (not hard in Hutton's instance).
I think we should retain Ireland, although his wages and the value we get is questionable. I still think he hasn't shown us his true potential One more season and if he fails, ship him out.
What is happening with the Makoun situation? Gutted about this, as he was a real ball playing, hard tackling midfielder. Much like a consistent Delph (who I think has been overrated this season).
Bennett will only ever be a 2nd choice LB, unless your name is Paul Lambert. I think Lichaj is a more viable option and has proven himself on the left in the past. More composed on the ball and better distribution than Bennett will ever have.
I am not entirely sure why Brett Holman has not featured a lot under Lambert (besides the fact he is talented). Holman v Nzogbia- not much in it. Holman has the potential to score many goals, something we have lacked in our midfield this season.
Our transfers in the summer must focus on shoring up our woeful defence, particularly centrally.Dunne is past his best, this is certain. We need some hardened, experience centre halves to allow Baker and Clarke to grow further.
There's an agreement with Makoun's current club (Lille?) to take him at the end of the season. For me, Ireland's had his chance; the money can be better used elsewhere. Hutton was worse than anybody we've got, he has to go. Homan hasn't featured of late because we've technically better players; his passes go astray and so do most of his shots, although he does bring a lot of energy to the side.
Marshall stays because he doubles as a goalkeeping coach. He's useful backup, especially if Given goes and Siegrist is promoted.
Westward looks class to me, reads the game well and his passes are top drawer. Bennett is better than Lichaj on the ball, Lichaj might be the better defender, at the moment.
