It happens, at least he didn't crash out with anything serious.
Any ideas how Andy Schleck is doing in the tour of California at the moment?
Andy is 24th in the GC 10mins behind.

Sounds like a great victory by Voigt there
Just been watching the last 20k of yesterday's stage 5 tour of California via the Eurosport Player on my Ipad2.
The app costs £2.99 per month and is better than having to watch a streaming.
Fri, 17 May - stage 13: Busseto-Cherasco (254km)
Stage type: Flat
Map and Profile
http://www.gazzetta.it/Speciali/Giroditalia/2013/it/tappa.shtml?t=13&lang=en
Look out for: America's Taylor Phinney
Looks like a transistional stage today, with a chance for the sprinters teams to dictate for the last time really until we get to Brescia
With the climbs at the ends however, it may throw a spanner in the works - and I'm suprised John Degenkolb didn't stay on for this one considering his victory earlier in the tour
Anyway, the 7km Descent to the finish should make it an interesting run in
Ryder Hesjedal has also pulled out due to "deteriorating physical condition".
Wow. Another great win for Cavendish.

Weather has worsened and with it the threat of avalanches meaning the Sestriere is out of bounds and a re-route via the Val di Susa is needed. Tomorrow's stage is also in jeopardy.

Shame to see Sestrie missed out, but should still be a good mountain top finish
May bring some of those less elite climbers into play
Would expect Uran to make a move also
No live TV at the moment due to the helicopter not being able to take off.

WTCBU,
Eurosport retweeting something that says both the Galibier and Mont-Celis will be cancelled tomorrow, with the organisers flailing desperately to find a re-route
Whilst its a shame, this should make the 2 Mountain stages after the Mountain TT fascinating towards the end of the Giro, attacks galore methinks
Wonder if they might let the break stay away in the treachorous conditions today
Le Dauphiné reporter @PhCourt says Sunday's #Giro stage will finish in Les Verneys, just above Valloire and start of Galibier pass
Cavendish is struggling at the back 2 mins behind the peleton
The latest rumour, and I must stress it is just a rumour, is that that tomorrow's stage has been cancelled completely.
Nibali takes more time from his rivals
What a GT this is for him and Astana
Early report say 30 seconds ahead of Uran, 33 ahead of Evans + time bonuses
