Good luck for tomorrow, although we are still in the fight for 6th I think you lot deserve it more, and I think we are well short of being ready to go up anyway.
PS, as proven on our boards, lucky socks DON'T work. Throw them away now, if you want to win.
FA|F, Was this a scientific study of the effectiveness or otherwise of lucky sock influence on the outcome of football matches?
Well put it this way, we won once the socks were ditched. Coincidence?
FA-F Sounds proven to me.
Stand back everyone, I'm about to burn my socks.
Sorry, Green Party, this could be another Chernobyl.
F-Al-F this is not a wind up for the OP but I disagree that Bolton deserve to go up more than us. At full time on Saturday two out of ourselves, Bolton, Palace or Leicester will be in the play-offs by virtue of getting better results over forty six games than the other two, the margins could be very fine at best (if we fail) it will be on goal difference or scored and at worst we will have missed out by three points, Bolton are the same (except it's unlikely to be on goals scored). For Leicester the best case is of course the play-offs either by one point or goal difference or at worst five points off and Palace can only miss out by a maximum of one point.
Obviously I want us in the top six but whoever gets the two places will have deserved it because we can all point to games over the season where had we got the result we deserved then Saturday's games would be a lot less stressful than they are going to be.
good morning, good luck to all involved today, hope whatever happens today is descided on moments of magic and not a sending off or mistake
Morning OBS
Glad I'm not the only one awake.
Was down at the ground yesterday.
Bought my season ticket.
Chatted with a guy who was saying he is looking forward to next season whatever division we are in.
That is my mood too. Just hope we win today and then we have done our best to get there.
Shame we employed AMc as I believe we'd already be sat comfy in the top 6
Obviously we all want our team to win and secure a place in the play off places, what I will say is, may the best team win.
Or may be not if Bolton secure a place!!!!!
"Shame we employed AMc as I believe we'd already be sat comfy in the top“
Webbo, you should know by now that's it's never easy being a Red, of late.
However, I'm thankful for the situation and like you, looking forward to success in the future, wherever that may be.
Now, let's get behind our team!
COYR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have Bolton ever failed to get in the play offs from a similar position? I can't remember a season where we have been close and missed out.from memory the 6 seasons we have had in the championship since returning from the darkness and getting promoted from. Div 2 in 1993 is 14th,3rd promoted through play offs,champions,6th lost at Wembley,6th lost over 2 legs,3rd promoted though play offs. No nerves this morning and slept well-a good omen hopefully as before Wba last season was feeling sick the night before and before stoke was a gibbering wreck and could not sleep.
Come on lads give them a shout for us ex pats will try to find a stream if not sky sports news whatever enjoy the day uuuuuu reds

This is way too much optimism from you Webbo are you sure you are feeling ok?
Also to the bolton fans it is nice to have a civilised conversation with another team instead of the dross from the sheep
As you said may the best team win!
Which obviously means Forest of course

Even YOUR Billy wouldn't of saved Bristol
Yeah also Webbo have you not realised the press do not like us?
We could go and win every trophy and Steve Claridge would still say yeah it was luck or they have 15 million strikers when we only have 4 and they can't score!
Even YOUR Billy wouldn't of saved Bristol

It's actually OUR Billy now!
Share the happiness
Yeah but Clarridge is a Fester fan.. You'd have thought he would of pushed it
Ok so what would you do if he got us promoted, would you still not acknowledge that he was a great manager(in terms of relativity) for us?
Would you just be sat there like Canniga with a face that resembles most in the BC stand, decrepit and sour?
Thanks webbo its all sorted have a good one mon amigo
