I think this result was fair today, Leicester were worthy winners, shame it was a mistake that gave them the third goal but that's been our season in a nutshell. If only we'd scored against Barnsley though...!

Yep, it's all about next season now. Will Fawaz back Billy in the summer? If he does then we'll challenge without a doubt. If not then it'll be another top 8 finish I think. Currently our defence is poor.

Would have loved to have reached the playoffs, but I really really wouldn't have fancied our chances. Hand on heart it is probably best we have another season in the Champ, with a full pre-season to build on the decent squad we already have!

Hopefully now Fawaz has seen how close we got, he'll be willing to pump in the cash to see us have a proper go at the automatic spots next time round!

Looking forward to the Summer ... I've got a feeling it's gonna be a busy one!

Billy will get his 'stellar signings' this Summer

Fawaz says there will be more investment in the team (in Arabic) on his twitter account, so I believe he will back Bill Davies this Summer. In English he says this:

"We will be looking forward to complete our mission next season COYR"

We WILL be better next season.

Finally missed the pre-match speech by Billy, what did he say or do we have a link to it, and is it true he said we are getting the West bridgeford Stand back from the away fans, as it is about time!

Cracking game today. Although it would of been good to get in the playoffs, I reckon Watford would of done us.

Tempted to move to the bridgeford stand, but think atmosphere may remain in main stand so may stay there.

I think Brighton will win the play offs, it will be very hard for Watford to pick themselves up after today.

Most of the forest fans have been really gracious in defeat and supportive on our boards which is really great to see. At the end of the day we have a young side with much work to do but just to salvage something from a bad 2013 is good.

Forest will be thereabouts next season, good manager, just hope Fawaz doesn't do anything stupid like fire him after 10 games next season.

They seem to have a good relationship, so I hope it lasts.
