I'm saying there was probably an assumption that the vast majority of Bolton fans wouldn't be leaving at the same time as the Blackpool fans, in relation to the comment at the top of your O.P., Tony.

I can't remember the last time away fans were kept behind at the Reebok. But if you're saying the Blackpool fans should have been kept behind, while the majority of Wanderers fans stayed behind to applaud the team, well, I guess the issue is the segregation rather than when the two sets of fans left.

If you left at f/t and headed past the away fans to the parkway it was always going to kick off. If you had to go that way you would of had to had your wits about you. A sad thing to type really but true. Surely you didn't expect a hand shake off a donkey lasher who hates Bolton?

If it was ever gonna kick off big style at the Reebok this season ..this was the game where it was bound to happen. If the club and the police hadn't worked that one out ... they're both infinitely more stupid than many suspected.

Seeing as I had my kids and my dad with me, I'm glad I missed all the fun and games. I left at the final whistle, had a quick shufty in the shop then got on the bus. Not a scrap of trouble to be seen.
