Are you saying people shouldn't be unhappy at Celtic's league form this season? I'm not sure what you're getting at.
Andy - not at all
But some folks on here compare our playing style and form to that of the EPL and La Liga - Scotland is a tiny nation of 5million - we compete with a tiny fraction of the resources available to others - have a gander at the Man Utd board tonight - how anyone could have a go at SAF is beyond me - likewise with NFL and what he has achieved
CG..are you happy, if so, tell us why.
It would be good to hear.
To be fair I get fed up with the moaners.
And now I'm moaning about the moaners.
Bubblebhoy
I can only answer you thus:
Champions again 2iar
Last 16 of the CL - remarkable given our resources
Some of the performances have been disappointing to say the least - but its all relative IMO
And if anyone is interested..i'm happy with our lot for this season and a cup final win would be nice.
My main complaint about this season is its a season lost in the progression of some of the younger players in the squad. Too many boring team selections.
Andy - kinda hear what you are saying
The under 20's have achieved the double 4iar
I think there will be significant changes in the summer
I gave you 5s cg..then the ''wan star phantoms'' strike!!
It's a results driven buisness!
I doubt ma granny would of took Celtic to the last 16 of the CL, but she would of easily win the title with Celtic!
Still though all in all its been a great season.
Bubblebhoy
its all about context and resources
A good crop of youngsters appear to be coming through - let's see what transpires
The problem we have at the moment is trying to put mere erses oan seats..if Celtic are going to play youngsters, (i'm sure fans would want to see the 'stars'' if they are forking out money watch the team) fans would think twice about coming along to watch unknowns.
I'd rather watch a young up and coming player than Charlie Mulgrew mill about in whatever position he's been plonked in by Lenny. Just me though.
When was the last time Celtic had a seat seller?
At best you try and find yourself a 34 De Boer or Cannigia and surround them with young talent. Kinda like Henry at the New York Red Bulls
3rd -buying seat sellers is why your club is where it is now
Either clubs in Scotland find a way to develop and grow talent - either from within Scotland - or by spotting gems such as Wanyama or the game is a bogie
Oh, and BTW - Stokes can away and raffle himself
3rd -buying seat sellers is why your club is where it is now
On my Article that is the point I am trying to make.
A Wanyama is agreat player but they are few and far between for Scottish clubs.
3rd - no offence but I don't comment on threads on the SFL boards
It's on the SPL board aswell as it is about the bigger picture of Scottish football!
No tribal mentality with me, I just want too see Scottish football get stronger!
