BREAKING NEWS
David Moyes is set to be appointed as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Manchester United.
An announcement could be made tomorrow afternoon.
I hope that this is not true for now. Why the rush.

From three years ago.
It's done and I'm glad. We've had about 50 Moyes articles today and there's no way we could keep this up all Summer.
Manchester United have done wise in employing so quickly, giving enough time for buying/selling, pre-season and so forth.
I'm not to ecstatic that it's Moyes, even though I've been pro-Moyes for the take-over for a long time, but the reality is, can he handle what comes to Manchester United. We'll find out soon enough!

Why the rush
--------------
Because your share price is falling. It's important to get a new manager in.
I guessing though that the decision was made a while ago. It's not a rush decision. It's no coincidence that Moyes wouldn't commit to Everton, that Fergie retires and Moyes is the new manager.
Its time for everybody now to stop moaning about his credentials and start supporting him.
Have full faith in him and I think this is the right appointment
Ah well, lets back him now I guess, he had better be backed in the market or we are in trouble.

This decision for Fergie to leave and Moyes to come in as been made some time ago.
Moyes not signing a new contract with Everton being a big indicator. Also expect to see P Neville return. It was quite odd him announcing that he was leaving Everton for a player coach role at another club without seemingly having a new club lined up.
Could Phil be his assistant manager?

Moyes will do fine. The natural thing was always to find someone with a similar mindset in terms of management as well as tactics so as to make the change seamless. If phelan wasn't so rubbish, it probably would have been him. Moyes is as close as we can find. We cant blow up this team just yet and just about any of the names being mention will mean exactly that to more
unpredictable results than what we will get with Moyes. With Moyes we will be in the top 4 and challenge because he is a squeezer of results from his teams. If he can play our in form players and put giggs to pasture, he already gives this team a boost already from the sad football we played this season.
In any case my only worry is Fergie meddling from the director's box but Moyes is a stubborn enough man to stop that. I bet you anything he signs a midfielder too... Immediately. That should cheer a few on these boards.

i'll allow that cos you've creatively turned spamming into a song
i'll allow it for now...
Success is never guaranteed with new managers. I'd rather see us give someone who matches the club a chance than see someone come in and churn things up.
Moyes is clearly a determined guy. I'm excited to see if he can make the step up. For all we know he could be perfect.
Moyes is going to be a disaster. Feel for you guys today
