you win some decisions and you lose some a few moments after he was onside and through and it was given off.
Just wonder if we had scored an offside equaliser tonight would we be hearing more of it ?
-----------------------------------------------------------
Of course we would. We´d be hearing all about it.
I´ve just grown used to it I think. I used to kick up a fuss about the blatant double standards shown against us but these days I don´t bother wasting my energies on it.
The media hate us. Just live with it, it says more about them than it does about us.
i quite like it that the media hate us were like the bad boy of PL football
On another day that offside would have been given. It wasnt a big blatent offside.

Agreed - I don't think Ade would have scored from that as he'd pushed it wide and we had a defender coming back to cover. That's not really the point though.
I know you win some and lose some - but we've lost more than we've won this season, and we don't seem to make any kind of protest and there's a sense of acceptance that we put up with poor decisions - but when we get them in our favour it's a massive deal.
Surely it was Rafa's fault?
Villa game is worrying but we can get it done or else

Please explain to me the difference between a blatant and a non blatant offside?
I agree it was a difficult decision and I can accept that.
But if CFC had scored that goal - would we be hearing more of it, would it now be a massive talking point. Would Sky have made a great deal more of it. And why when decisions have gone against us - has it been just brushed over.
We've been on the wrong end of many decisions this season and have simple been resigned to accept it. It wouldn't happen at OT under SAF..................and rightly so!
chill out mate spurs fans coming to gloat where was your player of the year Bale today looked like a joke to me completely shown up by Hazard.
charliefoxtrot, it was offside you're right. It was a tight call though. Linesman can be forgiven for not getting those right. Blatent offsides where the offending player is clearly a yard or two ahead of the defender should be called.
The 'Three Amigos' of Mata, Oscar and Eden Hazard were sweeping through the Tottenham midfield but a Ramires slip denied Chelsea a further goal, the Brazilian losing his footing when he was set to shoot.
Given that Chelsea played nine games in April, their energy was admirable and their lead looked comfortable.
BBC Sport insight on the game. I still thought we done ok. The keys players were tired at the end but we did not lose like Man City.

Totally agree Mr C.
My point is really about whether, if we had scored a goal in that way, there would have been more made of it.
Sky made nothing of it......at all.
Yet if it happened to us (see Luiz on Sunday), it would be a major deal..
I love it to be honest. It really amuses me how much Chelsea succeeding destroys the souls of all the bitters.
Spurs needed to win tonight and didn't. I would be gutted if I supported them as Chelsea didn't play well at all, and didn't really get out of 2nd gear until the 40-45 min period. Spurs v Arsenal for CL spot now...oooh how exciting.
supporting Chelsea makes you a a bad a$$ these days
You would think Spurs had won tonight the way some of their fans are crowing. They got lucky against a tired Chelsea side that had played 9 games in April.
Either way it's out of their hands now and we get a 2nd bite at the cherry on Saturday against Villa. Win that then that's pretty much 3rd wrapped up

Someone is bitter as usual. No one is crowing, we are just proud of how well our team battled for a point considering we were away. Fully deserved point aswell and could of even snatched the winner at the end.......that would of really given you something to moan about hey bubbles? Out of our hands now but by drawing we have kept ourself in it, losing would of been over..
Not to mention our star man Bale was absolute s hite tonight for once, and you still couldn't beat us.
The offside was marginal.
It was Adebayours head that was offside.
You can understand why a linesman can miss
it.

That's because Cesar marked him out of the game. Unfortunately for us, your striker suddenly remembered how to play football.
No he didn't, don't pretend your right Back had bale in his Back pocket because that didn't happen at all. The truth of the matter was you sh it yourself everytime he got the ball and put 3/4 guys on him everytime, it worked but it was so desperate it was unreal
Also, thank you for creating an article based on my comment, you complete clown. I really appreciate it.
