How do Evertonians think Moyes will do?

I think he'll do well as long as he can sign the right players (which he should be able to do as he has the funding)

I'm not sure if he will win the league in his first season though (a cup however is entirely possible) as Chelsea will have Mouriniho effect and Man City will add to the squad

but I think in the long run he will do well for Man U

he'll be a complete success, the guy lives and breathes the game.
you will be sick of seeing him on the telly, he'll be at every game whether utd are playing or not.
if we just had the average spends for the premier league we would of been a regular top 4 team.

i'm gutted tbh but i'm sure he'll be successful at Man u

If any United fan saw this as a shock??

Moyes was set on that job and I guess he was tapped up early in the season and is the reason he didn't extend his stay. Looking forward to a fresh start and someone to continue the great work moyes did with setting the club up from the bottom up.

Pitty Moyes allowed his contract to deliberately run down, as he may have been able to have least got Everton a few bomb compensation as a farewell gift.
Oh well.
Wonder if hell be triggering any clauses at his old club this summer ?

Bomb....hell.

What goes through your head.

What are these clauses you speak of?

The contract type fella.
As I said earlier, quite sad to see him run down his contract, when he probably knew where he was going, could have paid back a little of that 3 or 4 mill a year he was taking out of the club.
Good job Everton don't need the money eh.

Who/what clause?

Player's like Fellaini and Baines's contract clauses, which your departing manager has full knowledge of.
So not only does he string your club along, so he can walk freely away, while at the same time saving his new employers a few bob along the way, he will more than likely take one, or maybe two of your best players with him, for as little as possible, due to his inside info on their contracts.

How for you know of these clauses and why if they are players worthy of the Champions......they haven't gone before now?

I think you read the papers too much

Fellaini can go for me...Baines, well he would look at other players first as he knows full well what we rejected from United in the summer

Never mind reading papers fella, read between the lines.
Your beloved soon to be ex manager, has stiffed the club, good and proper.
He's pretty much deceived everyone at the club with his wait and see approach to signing a new contract, if you, as you seem to, accept he's known about this for quite a while.
Would have been a decent gesture from a man who taken millions out of the club in wages over his career, but never made any kind of return in terms of success, or made much in his transfer dealings either, to sign a contract earlier, and make Everton a few million back in compensation.
Pitty, as this type of deceitful self interest, and greed culture, is exactly what's killing our beloved game.

He will do fine but two things United need to be aware of:

1: Moyes has been disastrous with the confidence of our strikers, they always seem to have 1 good season then drop off completely. This is either due to the amount we paid for them or something to do with confidence from the gaffer.

2:Frustrating tactics, if you are chasing a game that you think you can win he quite often pulls off the wrong players.

Overall tho, you will still be winning trophies with him so enjoy it.

The biggest question is what are we going to do without him?...Like you said " I just hope you lot don't end up getting lumbered with that muppet Martinez."

That's probably the kind of hype the BK will fall for.

Has to be Laudrop or Di Matteo for me, at least they can build on what Moysee has brought in and not replace them with the "standard" that most managers would want.

Good luck

I don't think Moyes is that way inclined. He's married with children isn't he
