I am sure Villa will find a suitable position for Stan to stay at the Villa.
He is an inspiration and was a good club man to both Celtic and Villa.
It does always nearly always happen to the nice people it seems.
Continue your recovery Stan and enjoy whatever you decide to do

The most important thing is Stan's health. He has done more than most footballers do in their professional careers and should be proud of that.
There was uncertainty when his condition was announced on whether the poor guy would survive or not so I'm happy about his current situation.
A Villa vs. Celtic game for charity would be a fine gesture from both clubs.

Stan the Man - A Celtic and Villa Legend
I met Stan in Dublin when he had just signed for Celtic, he was a young boy then and the team was over for presseason. A lovely guy
All the best Stan
About four years ago we went to Bulgaria and my son had his Celtic top on and all of them came up to us saying how they'd been watching Celtic just because of Petrov! He was absolutely adored over there: it wasn't about Berbatov who was World Class at the time- Petrov was the player they loved.
He was a great servant to Celtic, Villa and Bulgaria and above-all a gentleman.
Stan.
