No. I have no ill feeling towards him. If he wants to leave he can.
Busby - Blood red - will you cheer him if he comes on after 60 mins or something. Or just do nothing?

I'm aware of that. He's the sort that would have turned up a few years back in a balaclava threatening Rooney to stay
I think it is pretty harsh booing a player when chances are that the stories this week are not true. There was not a single quote in any outlet from the player or agent.
As person, I don't like Rooney. And I'm not one of his biggest fans as a footballer (even though I still rate him highly).
However, booing a player that has been such a great servant to the club because he possibly wants to leave (is it even definite?), for reasons unknown to us, is simply pathetic.

Are they saying "boo!", or "boooney!"?
TBH, if the guy genuinely wants to leave, fair enough. He shouldn't be booed really - he's provided 9 years of service to the club and, by and large he's been a big part of the success the club has had in that time.
Recently he has looked disinterested and a bit stale. It will probably be best for both himself and the club to part ways if he doesn't want to be here. That doesn't warrant booing.
If anything - and even taking in to account what happened the last time he asked to leave - for United fans should just be saying thanks your time here and goodbye.
Although I half expect not to see him play in either of the 2 remaining games.

I think in this case it is. The fact that neither party has denied that it happened is a fair give away. If it wasn't true they would make a statement saying how it is nonsense. Instead they have just said 'Rooney is not for sale', which is not the same thing.
This is besides the point though, I think in recent times some United fans have got frustrated with Rooney, so wondering if this would tip them over the edge.
I'm gonna be shouting 'booo-urns'
You've got to feel for Rooney. I think the signing of RVP may make him feel like he's being forced out.
He's been the main man for years, and the manager always played him and had trust in him - and the media focus was always about how good Rooney is.
Now, he's not indispensable and a lot of the media attention has been about how well RVP has played as well as Bale, Suarez and Mata.
It's got to be a real knock to his confidence and might explain his performances and lack of interest on the pitch.
RVP's signing in someways may have done more harm than good. I actually think it's part of the reason our football has been pretty stale as he hasn't quite go to grips with the rest of his teammates.
Who in the side does he actually link up well with?
Dont think the United fans care too much about Rooney anymore to be honest. I think he will be gone and no one will care.
There's a poster called albooney, maybe he will.

Judging by his weight he seems to be on good terms with the club chef.
I don't know if feeling sorry for him, I think he has got himslef into this position by being pretty complacent when playing this season. Giving the ball away more than I have seen before and battling like he used to to win it back.

I don't feel as though he's betrayed us or anything. It's best for everyone involved if he has a fresh start somewhere else IMO.

Exactly, I never believe anything I read in the papers or online (regarding football) be transfer rumours or sackings. I always wait until the club release an official statement or I see the player in the colours of another club with my own eyes.

Moleman (looking sad) - "No ones gay for Moleman"

The English Iniesta, I was talking about RVP. I don't think he links up that well with the side. And possibly a reason for the football being a little stale and the other reasons I've stated may have contributed to Rooney's poor form.
Of course there is the argument that Rooney should have risen to the challenge and made himself undroppable - an argument I'm inclined to agree with - but it was more a point about the effect the RVP signing has had.
RVP as good as he is hasn't actually played as well as he did at Arsenal. Understandable as he's playing in a new team and we aren't as reliant on him to perform as Arsenal were.
Just offering up something as to what his signing may have meant for the club.
I can't even remember last season but wasn't Rooney playing poor even before we signed RvP?

Fair points. I guess both parties will be happy then if you get a stack of money to spend on player that suits the other players you have, and Rooney gets to be a big fish again with his new club.
