Even if we were I doubt it would ever happen.
Remember when we tried to sign Modric ? It would be like that all over again. No thanks.
Spurs are a feeder club to Utd and Levy only sells to them.

I wonder how many players we have sold since we last sold a player to united. Has to be over 20 surely
hope not too expensive rather spend it and get cavani
It may sound ridiculous because of how good a player he is, but do Chelsea really need him?
I think someone like Lewandowski would be a priority and the rumours about Falcao going to Monaco proved to be wrong.
Bale could play with any team in the World, but I just don't think Chelsea see him as a priority. Barcelona are on the hunt for defenders and are already spending most of their transfer budget on Neymar if reports are to be believed, unless United or City come in with a phenomenal offer I could see him staying at Tottenham.
I reckon he'll could to united, Baines and Bale down the left, formidable.
I don't want to take anything away from Bale because he's a great player but at United he'd just play on the left, non of this behind a sticker nonsense as he is sometimes deployed. Understandable as he is by far Spurs best player but at United on the left that would be playing to his strengths, being direct.
Understandably, being Welsh, Bale is a big fan of rugby - I've heard he was considering taking it as a career path.
For that reason I could see him taking a pay cut and going to Stoke.
I agree

Blue drog, good point.
As great as he is doing at Spurs, there's no certainty he'll be as efficient and adapt to playing at a bigger club with better players.
It's not as simple as saying he'll play with better players therefore be better.
RVP has been very good for United, however, his performances have not been as good as at Arsenal and he's scored less.
This is due to the fact he's still adapting to the team and we are not as reliant on him as Arsenal were.
Looking forward to seeing just how good Bale will be when he makes the step up.
Sauce?
Not sure if this is a wum article or what.
Do know its stupid, step up? To chelsea? Come off it...sideways move at best.
If he goes, it'll be to a big European club...not to a prem rival

Actually Bale was played behind the striker cos he wasn't enjoying his football on the left wing and it's worked well.
Doubt he'd wanna go United and be forced to play on the left wing again
He was a damn good winger though before he started cutting inside and shooting. His crosses were always on the money. Its just you have no need for someone to cross the ball in nowadays from the wing as your strikers dont feed off crosses and Bale himself has the ability to cut in and shoot.
I hadn't heard that about Bale not enjoying the left wing.
However, and as good as he is, I don't think Bale is in a position to go to big clubs like United, Madrid and Bayern and preach to the club where he should play.
If he goes to these sides he'll play where he is told.
