Turkey farmers at that and who ended up looking like a bunch of turkeys ?
Gobble- Gobble
Don't you feel sorry for us Herbie ?
I suppse when you think about it 'erbie, on the opening day of the 2013/14 season West Bromwich Albion are likely to be something like 48 places HIGHER than the Dingles......
Some comfort in that me ode marra !
Norwich were all over us from the off and we never got going. The midfield of Morrison, Mulumbu and Yacob just couldn't do anything, Lukaku may just as well have not been on the pitch. We were far too ponderous and needed way too many touches, and too many passes went astray. I actually applauded Norwich's last goal. They never gave up taking the game to us. I have no idea how they have struggled this season given that performance. Albion have got 7 points from their last 10 games - terrible. Steve Clarke has really got to get tough with some of these players, they just did not perform at the required level.
Luckily, those who only listened to it on the radio won't have seen how badly overrun we were. In the end, we were undone by a GK error, an own goal and a great goal right at the end. Steve Clarke has admitted he totally 'misread the game' and that he 'never thought Norwich could cause us so many problems'.
Oh well, you'll know better next time Steve not to take anything for granted.
'never thought Norwich could cause us so many problems'
JP must back SC in the Summer. Our squad is far to light and I worry that with our form since Xmas, that JP won't trust SC with the funds.
JP will not hang around in pulling the trigger if we start next season badly, but he has a part to play himself. As I said, he must let Clarke spend.
He's already failed SC. I can't help feeling if JP had 'sorted something' in January, then that would of given everyone a boost.
Weird. Our best ever PL finish and our it feels a little tainted. A sour end to the season indeed.
Spot on, JH. We're going to end the season with four straight defeats.
You know something's wrong when Olsson doesn't even shrug his shoulders at that second goal. Has he given up?
Olsson is playing for bigger things
Don't worry, goal machine Shane might get you out of trouble next season.
I'm just happy I support a club that acts when things don't go too well.
Minor clubs with no ambition or talent are happy accept double relegations.

What JH said. I don't know why the board are blame free. We were 6th/7th I think at the turn of the year. It has hardly been a massive drop but in terms of form, it's gone from European contenders to relegation form.
We had the chance to go out and sign 1-2 genuine quality players and we didn't. We knew we had a small squad. We knew about Mulumbu and ACON, we knew Yacob was injured we knew Od£mwingi£ was angling a move away from the club and we did nothing.
Steve Clarke was JP's man. He appointed him. He needs to back him.
That isn't excusing Clarke for yesterday's performance or for our downturn. He needs to devise a plan B and quickly.
For this season, Plan B looks like finishing 9th instead of 8th. But we've got to strengthen this summer in a number of positions. Maybe the Wigan and Norwich defeats have done us a favour, because suddenly we see where the team is weak.
"Or try not to lose the game knowing that they are at City on the last day?"
How did that go for you?
4-0!
