Ginger - you are so soft you could stick currants in you and I admire your total sporting nature leaving partisan bias to one side - have a great night you seem a good guy !!

There was a tear in my eye after Lampard getting the record as it secured Chelsea's CL spot, facking unfair

I quite like Lampard

I don't appreciate him scoring his hundreth odd winning goal for Chelsea though

What?! The only emotion I felt when I heard fat frank had broke the record and won the game was wishing I had a punching bag at work!!!

Wigan's win was brilliant though, got nothing against city and not usually an underdog, but when the underdog is someone like Wigan and Martinez then I'm more than happy for them

Give credit if credit is due, well played Wigan.

With Swansea winning the League Cup earlier in the season as well, it has proved (sort of) spending millions isn't the be all end all.

Oh and the little matter of saying good bye to the most successful manager in Britain as well... This season has been quite romantic.

funny i went to the bar and chatted to some old geezer and being my usual over emotional self said to him we should take lamps of "hes been invisible cant see us getting back into it with him on the field"

got my drink and as my bum touched the seat lampard bangs in the equalizer.

he looked over at me with a smile and just raised his glass

nice moment

Numbers

Tomorrow promises even more tear joking moments...

Hope Everton fans give Moyes the send off he deserves...

Don't know what a world without Fergie as the boss of Utd will be like... Given I'm just 30, that was the last remaining constant for me in the world of football...

Now all I have to work with are variables

It will be weird seeing the PL without Fergie. A lot of people hate/hated him but the guy was a winner. He saw off the initial challenge of Chelsea and wrestled the title back of City. You cant knock that to be honest. He helped make the PL what it is today.

Ginger - who is going to fund the FA now Fergie has gone who the hell can they fine to make up for all that lost revenue ?

It's good to see that there are genuine football fans out there like Ginger Beard Man who put up articles like this, that aren't all about their own team.
