I'm so glad you brought this up, I think everyone forgot to mention it.
I'm happy enough with Moyes. Lots of similarities to Fergie. He gets his teams giving him absolutely everything and they always play to the last minute. And you don't hear things about Everton that happen behind closed doors.
I think he's going to prove to be a very good choice. He won't be as successful as Fergie but nobody ever was going to be.
Chelsea and City don't seem to be the happiest of places at the moment, so it could just be the right time for this change.
I was shocked if i'm honest.
I'm not to worried about Moyes taking over, my expectations for him are 1st year top 4 finish then 2nd year should be a trophy year, i just hope he gets the time, what people seem to miss is that most managers go to clubs that are having problems and the previous manager has been sacked or moved on to bigger things, at Utd the foundations are there for him to win things.
my personal opinion is the fans of other clubs hoping for a decline (again) will be disapointed. We have brought in Fergie mark II, the backroom staff and structure remain intact.
Comment from a player who has played under both when asked to describe Moyes (I think it was Phil Nevilled) said "he's Alex mate, just 20 years ago".
I think if that were true we will all be delighted.
And a very poor one at that, but, then again, so are the majority of Liverpool poster on 606!
It seems rival supporters seem more bothered about Moyes than most of the Utd fans, are they afraid?
They should be, but, haven`t you heard,Its Liverpool`s Year next Season!

Delmonte.
How did your lot get on yesterday?
David Moyes had it over on you so many times as Our Manager(EFC). What makes you think he will not continue this lovely trend with Manchester United?
Good Luck to him i say.
By the way, he is held in such high regard that Goodison is sold out today and we have bought up our allocation for the away game with Chelsea.
Yeh! A really poor and unpopular Manager!

Jeward just seems to be a very bitter little kid, go easy on him
united and everton are almost like 1 club arent they
like a 1st and 2nd team, they swop players and managers
like its all above board ,nothing to see here
How am I wumming?
I find it quicker an easier to just ask as I don't know any utd fans.
If moyes doesn't start well and u, lets say, u finish 4th and win nothing. Is that something the fans can accept as a transitional season? Or are u expecting business as usual with top 2 and a trophy?

True enough, he's started just as badly as Fergie did.
