its 5 million in total for the first 4 years, then a 20 million pound warchest in the 5th year.
im sure some of your fellow bhoys will know
Steven Whittaker has just signed a five year deal worth over £5 MILLION
I don't know how you guys can go on and on and on about Rangers spending money when you lot have done bugg er all! You're obviously sheep that believe all they read in the tabloids.

---oo---
I very seldom read tabloids. Here's a broadsheet story.

let's face it none of us really know what this Whyte character is going to do but if i was a rangers fan i'd be concerned about it

last thing we need is more rubbish players think celtic will spend a bit on one or two players but id be suprised if our total spend was higher than 4-5 million if that.
keny it's more a clearout than bringing in we need. off the top of my head i'd clear out o'dea (off to leeds) thompson, hear he's off too. hooiveld, mcginn, maloney, samaras and murphy. we need 3 players imo. a goalie (hurry up please) a cb and a big strong cf
Eugene
Old news and no mention of this mythical 'warchest only Celtic supporters and tabloid newspapers seem to talk about.
Funny that
Plus the transfer window's still well and truly open so plenty can happen yet. Though from a bluenose's point of view PLEASE no more drawn out sagas!
Was watching 'The Sopranos' last night...
They've a great way of getting rid of players they don't like...
Get a BIG boat...
agreed mate, although i think if we can only get 2 of the 3 its a goalie and a striker.
Keny
I was under the impression Celtic needed to sell before they could buy any more?
I'm devastated by Loovens latest injury BTW

hahaha spot on. I particularily like how the bhoys always put quotation marks at it. Like this - whytes 'warchest' that he promised.
Hahaha then when you ask said bhoy/bhoys they can NEVER produce a quote from whyte saying warchest.
Cue some furious backtracking along lines of ' i aint gona trawl the internet for it. It was in the daily record. My rangers mates even agree'
aaarghhahahaha

wouldnt say so, i think it would be more prudent to do that but wev spent a million already ( roughly ) on wanyama.
no doubt they want rid of some players though, suprised they didnt give rasmussen more game time to advertise himself.
tcd
in friendlies obviously!
"no doubt they want rid of some players though, suprised they didnt give rasmussen more game time to advertise himself."
Who? Was he not the host of Mastermind?
tcd - you ever get me the quotes of whyte saying warchest?
Thats been about a week now!
Hector provided you a direct quote from the 'Guardian' where Whyte spoke about the £25m and the £5m for this Summer...
You asked for a quote where Whyte said he would give Ally £5m...you got it.
One man bumping his gums about giving significant funds to his manager, is another mans " war chest ".
Btw,
You have terrible recollection faculties
no quotes of whyte saying warchest then tcd?
Elite,
" I don't remember McCann bumping his gums about having a war chest "
Can you see where you're going wrong

£5m? So what is the significance of £5m? So you're sayin that this equates to your magical mythical 'warchest'?
