How was Troy Deeny allowed to play when he was sent off against Leeds?
Didn't deserve the penalty in the first place, complete dive which will I'm afraid ensure there's little sympathy for Knockeart having missed it.
Brilliant advert for The Championship otherwise though: good, open attacking play with no little skill on show.
It wasn't a penalty and would have been awful on Watford if we had scored
One match! For that foul ! Unbelievable. You were robbed.
Gutted though i am Watford are a better side than us and have shown that across two legs - in both games they totally outpassed us and they deserve to go through even if it had to be in such a heartbreaking fashion.
Contrary to what everyone has been saying Nugent is not a penalty taker - he's barely scored one in his whole career.
Surely the bigger question is why wasnt Wood still on the pitch to take the penalty? Kane contributed less than nothing for the nth time this season and Wood was having a decent game. But Pearson had his pre-ordained substitution (which happened at exactly the same time as in the first leg) lined up so he was hooked.
Either way I'd imagine that was Pearson's last game in charge - we tried hard but ultimately we weren't good enough over both the whole season and two play-off games so we can have few complaints.
I wouldn't worry about the finances blacksar see the high earners and do what Watford have done and rent a team from one of the bigger European sides. Seems to work.
Commiserations fester fans we know what it is like in the playoffs (even if a certain player of yours tried to cheat)
Will be interesting to see if NP stays as it was only before the Forest game that you wanted him out a lot of you do.
Either way would quite like Wes back off you if you don't mind?
Anyway cya next season again
Also to BlackStarr sos mate as your an ok poster so feel sorry for you missing out
To others, not so much
Cheers SBD, always good to see your posts mate, let's hope for leicester and forest in the automatics next season with Derby finally being relegated...
i would take that
With Forest as champions of course though
We won't get relegated, we will finish 10th-16th and clough won't make the turn of the year as manager. Forest won't get promoted, they may start well but they'll bottle it, as per billys usual way. However playing teams with 11 men on the pitch has proved tricky for them, so who knows. Leicester, depends if your chairman schwreekanadamapananadan can find a capable manager and a loophole to enable him to buy his way out of the championship.
One things for sure, living in loughborough means most of my mates are leicester fans, so I'll certainly be having a laugh at their expense. Thanks for providing both highlights of derbys season, goosing the dogs last minute at their shed, thendoing a brentford and goosing yourselves last minute on the telly.
This Kane changed the game last week and Dyer who was brilliant wasn't We just weren't good enough as we haven't been for the second half of the season.
Knockert wanted the pen and nugent does not end of Sad that Pearson could not talk to radio leicester but his suming up on Sky was right.

3 years ago in Cardiff I felt we'd given everything all season and luck hadn't gone our way. This time having just got home from the match I feel massively frustrated. Not just with events today but over the season as a whole. It's a huge opportunity missed considering how we were placed in Jan and with the small number of points needed for promotion.
Where this leaves Pearson I don't know? Half of me feels I'd like to see him grow this young team and have some continuity but the other half thinks he's had 2 1/2 goes at it now and has made some shocking judgements calls this year.
With FFP around the corner it's going to be a difficult summer.
Commiserations guys, Forest fans know what you are going through (only too well!), but I'm glad in a way because we get to play you again next season. Hopefully we'll both be better for a Summer break, and I'd love it if we were both slugging it out for top spot next time round!
I am proud of the way we played and nearly made it, I'm proud of all the LCFC players, staff and Manager.
Thanks for a great season!
Very proud of the team today. Knocky had a great game and I won't go overboard about his miss. It shouldn't have been a penalty in the first place but to miss the pen and the follow up and then to concede within 20 seconds is very, very hard to take.
Overall though, Watford were the better side over the two legs.
