Newcastle won't care because they are safe.

Easy Arsenal win.

Sunderland isn't a given. Think it'll be a harder game then a lot of people think. I'm certain we wont get champions league. Wish I had your optimism mate!

Paisley-Liverpool have had nothing to play for a couple of months and played well...

Wigan had it all to play for tonight but lost the plot for the 3rd goal...

People make too much of who has what to play for. Newcastle have enough players to give Arsenal a few problems. I'm not giving up

Wigan got 35 points

Newcastle were shocking vs Sunderland and Liverpool when they had something to play for, expect more of the same on sunday

Yep some spurs fans need to get real I'm afraid
Saying we don't deserve CL cos we dropped points to Fulham & Wigan. Hang on a minute, did I imagine Chelsea dropping points at home to QPR & soton, arsenal have dropped lots of points, do people expect us to win every game or what?
We have amassed a lot of points and i think we deserve it just as much as Chelsea or arsenal

Someone on the match thread
said we play the best football in
the league and I'm not having
that.

Whoever said that is a looney clown. Good comment though. It's very, very far from over.

I still reckon it is 50/50. Whilst it is not a given I expect Spurs to beat Sunderland, which means Arsenal still have to win at Newcastle, not easy, it is highly unlikely Newcastle will want to suffer 3 successive home defeats. Still all to play for.

what we want:

4. Tottenham 72
5. Arsenal 71

What will happen:

4. Arsenal 70
5. Tottenham 70

It will happen in the most annoying, Tottenham-ish way like that.

Sir Robert Paisley says-Suarez is staying. Hard luck you losers

Neither do I, you have had a battle for 7th/8th place going on all season.

Well Paisley, it's like this. Liverpool have had nothing to.play for for the past couple of months and this has coincided with them playing well for a change...

A lack of pressure can work wonders. I can see Newcastle benefiting from this on Sunday

Great name from the OP, because I'm sure that's what the chip will be thinking himself. Bale me out!

Maybe you Spurs fans should focus more on your game against Sunderland.

posted on 14/5/13

Spurs think they've got 3 points in the bag this means usually they will draw or lose against Sunderland. Di Canio isn't the type of manager who will just watch his team play out the game no chance

Expect the worst and hope for the best. I just know that either arsenal draw and we fail to win or we're winning comfortably whilst arsenal are drawing before someone useless like Ramsey has an aguerooooooo moment and denies us at the last. It's destiny

Arsenal were always going to win tonight

I backed them £200 with a goal handicap @ 2/1

Against Newcastle i will not be doing the same bet

It should be a much tighter affair, providing Newcastle and their clown manager show some pride
