If he were to beat vitali its down to age, as a prime vitali would destroy him, you only have to look at his fight against wlad to see that.
personally I go

Haye>Price>Fury>Chisora

However Price hit a big problem by losing last time out and because of how regular heavyweights fight these days could have easily set his career back 2 years.

The thing that I hate is that if you actually look at the division there is so much scope for a super six style tournament.

apart from the four I mentioned you have wilder, Povetkin, Chagaev, Charr

Make a tournament with those mentioned (possible replacing a couple of them based on anyone more deserving adamark for chisora been an obvious one for example) call it the heavy8s and say within the space of the next 2 to 3 years we will have seen a tournament that pits them all against each other.

Haye was so soundly beaten by Wlad you have to worry he might freeze when he sees Vitali across the ring...they look so a like..

He does however possess the tools to beat him.

I think Haye beats them all bar Wlad. Dont think he froze just got shutdown by Wlad. I think Fury is underrated and may pose a threat in 18 months. Only 24 so has age on his size.

I thought he was too intimidated to engage.........Maybe it was the toe!!!!

posted on 15/5/13

Both did not want to engage, wary of each others power. Everytime Haye threw the right hand Wlad used his footwork to get of range and get Haye off balance. Wlad was happy to keep it at distance, settle for a points win and not go for the knockout.

Wlad was smart.......

A Tyson or a Foreman would have got Haye out of there.

All about the win........Tyson couldn't get Smith out of there.

Haye is the top Brit but that isn't saying much.

He'd blast Vitali out now within 6 rounds I think, but as Mattyp said that's down to Vitali's age.

Haye is by no means a top top heavyweight, but he did at least get the division in the spotlight again, briefly.

You the old Hayemaker from 606 days??

Haye is the kind of personality that heavyweight boxing needs...

Brash...and can be exciting.

I don't think I was called TheHayemaker then but did contribute?

Absolutely though, he grabs headlines. Also has an enough ability to get himself into big fights.

Ive always said that the super 6 should be a mandatory event in each major weight class.

On haye, I like what he brings to the division. He riles ppl up and is a genuine good boxer. Not a top 10 all time but what it needs right now. The division will not see another golden era for at least 20 yrs I reckon.

Wlad would have so much confidence next time..

Wlad being so confident next time might actually help Haye, cos he desperately wants Wlad to come to him so he can counter, Wlad might do this a bit more if he's over confident.

I'd fully expect Haye to give Wlad a MUCH tougher battle next time, whether it was injury or whether it was a bad night, Haye was poor first fight. Don't believe he'd be so poor again but cos of the size difference Haye is always gonna get out jabbed and out boxed by Wlad. He's effectively looking for one big hurtful punch and then a finish which is not easy against Wlad.

Still think Haye has the best chance of any current heavyweight against Wlad but you'd never make him a favourite or even give him a good chance. He'd need to fight more aggressively and take more chances than he did first time that's for sure.

Haye doesn't want Wlad.....Vitali is slower and older..

He's still a few few years away, and is still really unproven but there's a young Scottish (yeah, I know) heavyweight by the name of Gary Cornish that looks like he could go beyond domestic level

He has sparred with Chisora and near knocked him out by accident (apparently Chisora was fuming, rightly so, and called off the sparring). Think he's also getting vital sparring sessions with the Klitschko's too

Hughie Fury would batter Gary Cornish.

Hughie Fury has had one fight..........Looked good but against a stiff.

posted on 17/5/13

Aye coz you've seen a load of Cornish's fights eh

posted on 17/5/13

He has fought guys with losing records and is 26. Hughie will have faced better opponents by the end of the year and is only 18.

posted on 17/5/13

So you're writing him off because he's 26

posted on 17/5/13

Who said im writing him off. All I said was Hughie Fury would batter him.
