This is what happens when you block for 90 overs
Just getting worse and worse. Jonny B needs to chance his arm here a bit just to get to us to a score that's even slightly useful.
This getting better and better actually
If England seamers bowl short of length on this pitch. Someone needs to tap on their heads to see if they have a brain inside.
That Finn we keep hearing about. Needs to show something. that warrants his place in the team.
oh and Broad to.. Best pick Stuart or he will get broody. Or play in a test match with a heel injury and bowl like a drain, like he did in the test match in India in the winter..
Fair play Jono, although the only silver lining for England right now, and it's a very thin silver lining is that Jimmy will be in heaven bowling today if it stays the same. But we are firmly on the back foot and seems lessons from our tour in NZ have not been learnt.
~Was rather hoping during Lunch Sky would show the school kids from watford playing on the outfield, might have been an interesting game after the sessions we've had.
England all out! i feel a NZ collapse coming up. The ball is swinging
Personally I feel a bout of Peter Fulton making our batsmen look like amateurs again by playing positively. We'll see.
Great bowling display once again! Now to back it up some positive batting
Huge congrats to Jimmy, hugely deserved and a massive milestone. NZ finding as hard if not harder to bat so far.
I was wrong, and I'm glad I was Bravo the Burnley Express.
Nice little knock from Taylor. Need to get him quickly after tea.
England ned to get taylor out Broad needs to bowl better aswell
FFS Broad 3 4 off your over bring back finn
Sorry but time to drop Broad his lines are all over the place in 3 over s he has given away 16 runs, not good enough
Credit here to Taylor, he's been the only batsman in the match who's tried to dominate and push things along, it's taken a long time but he's shown if you back yourself you can play shots. Credit to him.
Agree Taylor is playing well but broad bowling has been shocking.
Apart from Jimmy our Bowlers have been poor the same in NZ, Thier bowler have been allot better than ours so far
No doubt about that one Jungle, we can think of all the excuses under the sun or worry about batting line ups, simple fact is we were lucky to get away with a draw in NZ and so far vfrom what i've seen ( early days i know) we'll do well to get away with one again. Broad is in no sort of form but we know that won't affect his position, Finn is not suited to this pitch. Thank god right now that Jimmy can bowl on glass if needs be. Credit yet again to NZ, they deserve all the plaudits.
Just shows what good a pitch this is.232 is pathetic score.
Great bowling Anderson. As for Broad i think it would be a good move to drop him as he has been off form for far to long. His line is all over the place and he hasnt been doing it with the bat.
But they won't drop him Jungle. We have so many good bowlers in the county game who are very very good bowlers, but broad will carry his potential tag with him for a few more years yet. A hobby horse if i've ever seen one.
