£100million?

We'll need £100 million MAX

we do need a few additions but players are so expensive.

It'd be good to get

- Moutinho
- Cardoza from Benfica
- Striker wether it be Cavani or not

I'd like us to have some decent squad depth next season, like we did in the 05-07 season with Mourinho, squad wasn't too small and wasn't too big, it was perfect

Cavani 42.5
Schurulle 20
Modric/Moutinho 30+

More or less £100mill gone there.

Hey I did this article...

Would really like Moutinho to join, as he is exactly what we need

Falcao should be no1 target, the rest can wait.

Falcao deal is becoming too complicated with 3rd party ownership. Plus we'd have to pay him over £300k a week just to match what he takes home with Monaco if they pay him half that.

Looks like Cavani is the top target for CF, but there are plenty of options.

We need a CF
At least 1 CM, but Ideally 2.

Schurrle I would take or leave.

Stupid move for Falcao going to Monaco if true. Purely 100% for cash. Monaco are also involved in tax issue now with French government

Should also say this is why big Istanbul clubs are getting better players. My sister lives out there and I have family and friends in Istanbul. Only 10% tax for footballers, so they can offer a lot less to give the players more take home money. Expect more signings at Gala and Fener. Spanish and French tax (bar Monaco) is now massive.

If that is the case with Falcao then its probably a dodged bullet. It doesnt show much ambition from him joining a team just promoted to the French first division. I agree though that striker situation is the main priority.

Have to agree with you bring back,I honesty thought only real could hijack the Falcao deal. Clearly he only cares for cash. Don't see Monaco doing well at all. Remember in the 90's they had top players playing in an empty stadium. Like Man City, a joke club no matter how much cash they have.

Add that £100,000,000, to the £240,000,000 net spend over the last 2 years, and that equals, WOW.

I think Falcao would join us given the choice. No guarantee he would move to Monaco, but I'd be willing to bet he won't move to Chelsea.

The premier league rules on 3rd party ownership make the deal very complicated. My understanding is that the buyout clause in his contract is only for around 80% of his ownership and a 3rd party has a percentage.

This may be wrong, but I'm sure there's a rule in place where prem clubs are not allowed to buy from a 3rd party. This means we'd need Atletico to buy the remaining percentage before we sign him and they would then want that added to the fee. This makes it come to around 70m which is ridiculous.

If it's true that we are going to spend about £100 million in the next transfer window I would go for these players:
Julio Cesar: I don't know how true this is but I read some time in January that if QPR got relegated he had a buyout clause between £3-4 million.
Luke Shaw: I would sign him and loan him back to Southampton till January and then bring him back to challenge Cole, Cost £15 million
Marouanne Fellaini: Cost £24 million, if there's one thing we need it's some physical presence in midfield and he would be the most perfect choice for us.
Andre Schurlle: Cost £20 million, we need another player that can play in our attacking 3 and he seems to be the 1 we are looking at.
With the rest of the money we would need to go for a top class striker wether it's Falcao, Higuain, Lewandowski, Neymar or Rooney.

I think chelsea should poach andy carroll - i'm being serious too

posted on 17/5/13

You don't need to tell us. We know you're always serious

soccer?lol.

soccerlawl andy carroll is very underrated and has never been given the opportunity to settle. If chelsea were to go for him I think he'd do very well under mourinho, who will treat him like a son

The thing is Robert Carroll was over priced and that price tag didn't help him at all. He's an old school striker, who wasn't given a chance at Liverpool. He would do well for any team, as defenders must hate playing against him. Reminds me of Mark Hateley (the legend) a bit who we had playing at Rangers.
