Some interesting names there, especially when compared to past records with team mates who seem to escape the list

It was tough to pick the names as there are so many different factors in play.

If you look at plain qualifying statistics, you could put Jules Bianchi or Giedo van der Garde in the bottom 3 but it would be incredibly unfair as they've been stuck in ridiculously slow cars.

Similarly, I might be being very generous putting Vettel on the top 3 list as he's always had a fast car to work with. But the first half of 2012 showed that he can struggle when the car isn't screaming away at the front.

I may have to do some serious thinking and redo my list.

very hard to pick the worst as normally the slower drivers are in the slower cars so i wont even try -

vettel for me is the outright quickest in qual with a group of about six or so drivers behind him which to me are fairly evenly matched for qual pace ,

they would be ,

alonso
rosberg
hamilton
raikkonen
maldonado
bottas

i am aware there are a couple of strange names included but i would be surprised if there was any significant difference between any of those 6 over 1 lap if placed in the same machinery --

Since we all love stats. If I'm not mistaken, since 2010, only one driver has made it into every Q3 session till date.

He does not wind me up. I am surprised that the English educational system can produce a person that is as thick as Martial Artist.

I think you may have a valid point in advising me that Martial's hatred of Lewis Hamilton is entirely my fault. Perhaps you think that Adolf got a bad press and it was in fact all the fault of anyone that stood up to him. If only they had ignored him we would have had a United States of Europe in 1939.

By the way, on the issue of David Coulthard and Webber and Mika Häkkinen, Webber out drove Coulthard considerably in comparison with Mika Häkkinen.
