mine would be
..........Boateng..Greening
McGugan.....Raddy......Reid
I think I agree with Sheriff of Nottingham....
Although I would be gutted for the Moose in some ways as I think a full season (if he stayed fit) would do him the world of good.
5 in midfield would only work if we had a top striker, have we got this? I dont think Findley would be a good lone striker though.
I actually do think Miller could do that job.
Total football, we're going into the first game with:
Camp
Gunter, Morgan, Chambers, Lynch
Majewski, McGugan, Boateng, Greening, Moussi, Cohen, Reid.
Wingbacks, 6 midfielders, no strikers and not letting the other team get a touch. 0-0 every game with a few 1-0 wins every so often!
I think I'm in with a shout of starting at left back just ahead of Lynch.
Which strikers have scored for us , pre-season?
exactly, play the kid, we don't need miller.
against Spurs reserves.
Let's not get carried away. By your logic we could have Wes or Chambers up front, they scored the same amount!
Actually I was thinking chambers earlier.
No seriously you think Miller will do better than our current strikers?
I'd like to add him to our squad as I think none of our current lot, including Blackstock, are physically imposing enough. It depends on how McClaren plays but with all those midfielders we need someone who can hold the ball up. It sounds from WBA fans that Miller may not be the right man for the job but he's always looked good when I've seen him. £2M is a lot though, I'd happily get that Man C kid on loan instead.
If I was picking out of Miller, Garner, McGoldrick and Tudgay I'd probably opt for Miller though, yes. It's a shame Boyd was on massive wages as he's the type we could do with, hold it up, good in the air, plays others in, he may be lazy but he's a smart player.
