It was a close one. We should have been hit, there was a small tornado on the ground heading right for our house but it changed course at the last minute & missed us by over a mile.

We do have a saferoom, although it doesn't have a door, so we stuff it with a mattress. I bought a big TV instead....a decision those sitting in it yesterday were starting to question while I was at work.

I think Cinci is ok..he's moved to Lawrence, Kansas near Topeka & Kansas got hit pretty bad yesterday too.

Also hit some debris in the road on my way home which burst my tire & wrecked my wheel. Trying to change a wheel on the side of the interstate highway at rush hour in a storm where everyone is driving crazy looking at the sky instead of the road is not fun!

No..i was stuck in Tulsa at the time. I've still never seen a tornado..only on TV. If I'd been home I'd be outside shouting at it while everyone else was in the saferoom.

Glad you missed the worst of that round simon, it was a brutal few days for sure.........Kansas only got around 15 to 20 tornadoes, you guys got the biggies.
