Congratulations to Nosey1 who is the Predictor champion for season 2012/13. He follows on from great champions like TROLLFECKER, SOUTHSIDEBLUE and BLUETOONGER

It was a close run thing though this year with both BACK N BLUE and MILLER putting up a spirited fight. In fact going into the last week of fixtures the top three were Nosey1 with 303 points, Miller with 303 points and Back n Blue with 299 points.

Anyway for a breakdown of the last two weeks it was as follows. In the second last week of the season MILLER had an amazing week top scoring with 18 points having correctly predicted three correct scores and one correct result. IVAN GOLAC IS MAGIC had a top week as well with 17 points with ironically him failing to predict his own team winning at ICT preventing the LOGIEB clean sweep of 6 out of 6 predictions. The next highest score was 12 points showing how good both players fared.

The last week of the season was difficult with only two games having anything at stake. It was a low scoring week and unfortunately after having a wonder week and going joint 1st MILLER could only score a paltry 3 points. I don't want him being labelled a choker now

BHOY MURNEY and RANGERS5752 were our top scorers with 11 points and that meant both rounded of good seasons. RANGERS5752 managed to pip THE DUKE in the table taking the last of the top 4 places. Suggestions he is the new Arsenal are probably not far of the mark

So that rounds off another great season of THE PREDICTOR. I would like to thank all of those who took part and in particular those who stuck with it right until the end of the season. We started off with over 60 players and finished with a hardcore of about 26 who finished the season. I hope all have appreciated the game and I look forward to doing it all over again in about 80 days time

I put that down to missing about 5 weeks,if i didn't miss them i would've been nearer the top of the league

Joe, what happened to your predictor?

I've looked at the above table, done some analysis and determined that I would have finished top with 340 points. Looks like it is in the bag for next year.

I think i just got lucky last season coming second LMC
