Just asking .......

Been here before I think (written in a French accent).
Vous connaissez cet endroit, je pense.
"timeo Sc'umaos et dona ferentes", as Vergil might have said if he'd been aware of the Premier league
Perhaps I should I rephrase my original question to ask "does Hmmmmmmmmmmm have any meaning other than as a noise, signifying pleasure, such as is derived from eating a jam donut or privately pleasuring oneself whilest perusing photographic materals collected in a convenient and relatively waterproof magazine format?" AND a supplementary question would be "how significant is the number of m's in a particular Hmmmmmmmmmmmm?
Personally I think 22M Hmmm's are largely ironic, while the shorter 15M Hmmmm's are more caustic in tone.
Its my belief a good quality PhD could be written on this.
certainly,
the dots before the question mark are a powerful modifier of the meaning, too. For instance, you can have a 5M3D (5 M's and 3 dots) where the sarcasm almost drips off it, while a simple 5M1D which superficially looks similar, is actually a coded way of saying that people living in Wakefield are all super chaps who talk a lot of sense. Its a complicated language, is Mtalk.
I'll kerp you updated, stay with me on this. I'll translate any I see for you. I think Im getting the hang of it.
I certainly need to be "kerpt" posted on this one. I'm intrigued as to where this might take us!!
you think thats a typo, don't you?
We have entered Mtalk - its confusing but I'll make it all crystal clear
trust me
HMmmmmmmmmm is not an English word, I do not know of any English word that starts with two capital letters...!
I could not find it in my English Dictionary.
It's a bit like teh, which is an old Hertfordshire slang word meaning chubby digits when using a bilberry, sadly it is not in the Engllish Dictionary either.
For the meaning of the word 'Hmmmmm...? I refer you to my thread of the same name.
whats your favorite humming noise?

very witty Eric, though I fear those not understanding Mtalk will miss the humorous lampooning of LIW that an M5D3 in conjunction with the English word "thread" constitutes.
Hopefully LIW will get it, I dread to think what his reply will be, though

I've seen your comment before...!
Think I'm getting repetitive in my old age.
Warnock (Senior) out.
It's predictable & rather tiresome.
His knowledge of football can be written on the back of a fairy fly.
Apologies of course to all Fairy Flies out there.
