PS4 can't play old gen either

Pre owned games can be bought and you can borrow games from friends, it just gets deactivated from the old installed copy on the console. Read the bottom here (update on twitter):

So it's exactly the same as this gen, you just install it on the new system so both of you can't play at the same time. Fairly straightforward Stop being such a blatant fanboy, both systems are exactly the same here.

No, I was a diehard sony fanboy for many years but then bought a 360. Used to own a PS3, didn't really like it.

IMO MS were stronger, I prefer their crappy gimmicks to Sony's.

Neither stirred anything in me. I'll be sitting this generation out.

Though if anyone wants to play Arma 2 or some other fairly cheap multiplayer game, I'm up for it.

I'm not gonna be buying any more games until the next gen. To be honest, I might still buy a PS4. It depends on e3 now.

I can't feel comfortable buying more games for my 360 knowing they'll be trumped by a better version in a couple of months. When the 360 came out they re-released a bunch of games that had just come out for Xbox 1 and I remember looking at my friend's 360 and realising how good NFS most wanted looked compared to my crappy PS3 copy.

penguin they've stopped producing ps2s back in jan so im sure games will follow suit very soon

They still haven't announced it PC . They probably will but it'll come out some time in March next year

Meh I think it has a lot more to do with the xbox.

The xbox launch wasn't exactly disappointing, but it ended with facking COD, and by the end I was thinking, "Is that it?"

Not bothered about either of them really. A lot of new stuff on it, yeah, but nothing that my PC can't already do. Seems a bit silly to spend all that money on something I don't really need.
