So it's OK to poke people if you are Italian?
Judge, don't go offering to meet Chelsea fans on here , they get you banned for that sot of thing
Of course being a hot headed Italian doesn't give you a licence to hit people but it doesn't make you a facist either.
Mancini had a set to with Balotelli, two more hot headed Italians.

Kamikino,
it's funny how this thead attracts the attention of a fan from whose manager has just been sacked for the same reason.
Judge. Fining a player for deliberately going against club orders is not linked to a fascist point of view.
If you have issues with his politics then it should be said. Not veiled behind some excuse about the plight of Phil Bardsley.
Going back I just found it distasteful and wrong to link this to the holocaust as it cheapens what happened to those people.
Your issue appears to be with Di Canio and his supposed political views, not with him disciplining players. disciplining footballers and having a temper does not in any way mean that you are showing fascist tendencies.
Am I fan of his? No. Do it think he'll do well with Sunderland? No.

You seem slightly insane.
You cheapened it by mentioning it in the first place on a forum about football, on an article about a rich footballer being fined. There is no link between the 2.
This has nothing to do with fascism or the holocaust, both of which were brought up by you. It is trivialising what is an important and horrible time in human history.
If it was any other manager fining players for not following club rules or threatening a shorter holiday for under performance and poor discipline then I doubt you'd have made this article.
Political views should not be brought up on a football forum. This isn't gonna end well...
CFC - has any other manager come in this quick and shown actions like this?
Do you not count his previous actions of Na zi salutes as a character flaw?
S and G Hairdresser
I think we are well past that point.
Sagna, you've obviously never seen any of the Celtic/Rangers posts.
He's not a N azi though, simple and if you think he is then you don't have a clue what you're on about. frankly what happened to your grandparents has nothing to do with di canio or anyone on here and isn't relevant to anything, Di Canio can deal with his players whatever way he wants
Judge. His previous actions and character flaws have nothing to do with why I bothered posting.
Your mentioning of the holocaust and linking the punishment of bardsley to fascism was wrong.
If you want to talk in depth about whether his fascist salute represents a character flaw, or even what modern fascism represents, then maybe another time.
So far as coming in and changing things quickly. Why not? It may not work, but he obviously feels there was a lack if discipline under MON and he wants to address it quickly. I don't see him being a success personally, but if he can bring in players who will buy in to his methods then who knows.
Yes of course he can. He can also be the first manager to be hounded out by the FA.
That is the reality surrounding this despicable man.
Why are people trying to reason with the OP? He's obviously got deep-seethed issues to sort out. Pity he can't see his rather fatuous ramblings on here actually trivializes whatever happened to his grandparents. I wouldn't even bother mentioning that kind of thing on a football forum.
have to agree its not the place to talk about your parents dying
Players are way to powerful, about time a manager made a stand against blatant disregard for their clubs well being at last someone prepared to stand up to the money rich morally pore bunch of wasters.
I believe Levy had to send a private jet to get Adebayor back from the African nations cup four day late.
At the end of the day you might not like the man (that is an understatement) but how he disciplines his own players is his business and the FA have no right to get involved.
Just to contribute to a previous point brought up by the OP. Another manager who has come in and from early on 'forced a regime' on the players is Juande Ramos, he put the whole squad on diet put together by him. Yet this was not linked in any way shape or form to his political ideologies
Judge,
1) I think you're confusing fascism and nazism.
2) to display authority as a football manager is a fundamental part of the role it's not exclusive to fascists
we all know de canio is an idiot an dolt to learn about how to talk to people but agree with a lot of the posts on here that a lot of the modern day players do need a slap
Weare it is grandparents actually.
No matter though eh
Di canio is trying to make a name for himself, if he carries on like this he'll lose the dressing room before the seasons starts, a bit like the brian clough/leeds united scenario.
