Koscielny's head reminds me of a shark, and I don't like it.

Probably the best center back in the world based on his last few months of form. Hasn't made 1 error, barely conceded any goals, won almost each attempted header and tackle

Because virtually any right minded person can clearly see Vidic, arguably Ferdinand, certainly Kompany, etc. Are all better than Koscielny. That isn't to say he's a bad defender.

He's been our best defender now for 5 seasons - he's extremely pacey, reads the game excellently, is pretty good in the air and is a great tackler, without doubt one of the best in the league, anyone who disagrees clearly hasn't watched him enough or is just judging him on the league cup final debacle.

Sure, on form he's right up there. But not proven as 'world class' (yet) and few are.

By virtue of having seen a lot of him, I'd say he possibly scrapes in top 5 in the Prem.

Mostly agree. Although I'd say Koscielny is a considerably better defender than David Luiz, all day long!

Luiz is a very good footballer, but I don't rate him especially highly as a defender, a bit of a white elephant for me...

And Dante? Has had a great season for sure, would I say he's easily better than Koscielny? No way.

Varane is better. Essentially a stronger and more athletic Kos.
