Helder Postiga to Valencia!
Emenike retuns to Fenerbache.
Bernard signs for Shakhtar.
I thought Bernard was going to Arsenal?
Shakhtar like a promising young Brazilian player. They signed Fred, Fernando and Wellington Nem who are meant to be highly rated young players as well.
It is a strange one for me because these Brazillians could go to much better leagues.
It'll be interesting when the Russian and Ukrainian leagues are merged, if that indeed goes ahead.
Yeah that's an interesting one. Will be a bit harsh on some of the mid to lower level Russian and Ukranian sides that are on the cusps of European football.
Could make them better in the long run, though.
Any idea exactly what's happening with it? All I heard was that it's an idea being looked at.
I heard that the owners of the clubs had all agreed to it, but I'm unsure how UEFA feel about it.
I think if it happens then there will be smaller leagues who will also want to merge because media rights would increase and that would allow the likes of Celtic, Ajax, Anderlecht etc to be more competitive in European football rather than the first knockout round being there ceiling.
I think Russian football suffers because it has very few fans and that the distance between clubs is so remote that people lose interest. The Ukrainian merger just adds to that, in my opinion.
Merged leagues have come about through media rights giving more leagues an advantage, but it just seems impractical to think of supporters.
Ok, tah for the info.
I agree it does seem impractical. Russia and Ukraine combined is massive!
I don't think the two countries get on that well these days.
Russia has nine time zones.
I don't know if it is only a part of Russia that comprises their league though.
Hypothetically, I think Shakhtar could challenge the big Russian clubs.

Shakhter would win it. They're better than all of the Russian clubs. Zenit's star player is Hulk for crying out loud.

On a similar note there was talk about the Belgian League merging with the Dutch League but apparently the clubs were heavily against it.
where are all the arsenal signings?
RGK guaranteed me that they were getting higauin jovetic rooney suarez fabregas and fellaini.
he has recently added gungodan and gustavo to the least.
i think the OP needs to add the above signings to his article

I'm sorry, Chronic.
Although the signings have not yet transpired, RGK assures me it is a case of dotting the 'i's and crossing the 't's.
He says they're ready to spend the £160m cash reserves to fund their title win this season- as well as winning five Champions Leagues in the next decade.
ok henrik good. i was concerned for a moment that we were missing out all the world class signings that are going to make arsenal dominate europe for the next ten years.
anfield rap... yes he did mention villa early on but later swapped him for suarez, who rgk says arsenal are definately going to sign.
done deal
Shakhter Karagandy are awful now.
capoue to spurs
what a huge upgrade on parker and can play cb too
Gary Medel (Sevilla) to Cardiff City. Fee according to Marca is €11M.
Some Belgian media outlet reporting Barça have offered €27M for Spurs' Jan Verthongen. No idea how reliable that is.
Btw this is a well good thread henriks
I hope you continue to do these
Thanks very much, Edin.
Will be updating it more.
