We played 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 once this season and have the FullBacks to play that system. However I would prefer someone like Johnny H in defence with a little bit of quality playing/bringing the ball out.
If we lose Fellaini,I can see a few additions.

I would be sorry to see the big man go, but we could pick up a defensive minded midfield player for a lot less than we get from him. This would allow for players such as Kev and Ross to play in their more prefered attacking role and give us much more options.
Who knows, its a time of change.
He played 4-3-3 at Swansea
Whatever formation he chooses it wont make the slightest bit of difference. Relegation battles are his experience

Behave yourself,he hasn't even signed and your predicted doom already.

but then you could argue before moyes came he already knew former league1 experiences and joe royle when he was fighting relegation with oldham. even tho i didn't want martinez i hope he is given time by the fans (if he decides to come)
He just doesn't get anything out of his players until his job is on the line...again,
No thanks, we need fire and heart to push on. not one decent month of May.
Jog on Martinez
Nothing like a big hit of negativity.
I just can't get excited about it.
losing Kone during African Cup probably cost Wigan in the end.
I hope all my negativity smacks me in the face, I honestly do.

No one's asking you too,but there's no need to be so negative. You're acting like a wum.
You're acting like our neighbours oo00Victor Meldew00oo
Whatever, I've had my say. Hope I get proved wrong.
Out.
Fair enough. Were you like this with Moyes when he was appointed?
We have a top six side with exciting talent in the side and also to come into the side. He gets bargain players from Scotland etc playing good football. What's to say he will turn the ethics of hard work that were installed long before moyes arrived on its head?
I would have prefer Jose but this is someone I believe Moyes has had a big say in. He has always said he admires Martinez and he knows more than I do.
My personal choice is the Porto manger Pereira but ill back Martinez and hope he proves doubters including myself wrong
I agree Fellaini, lets hope Moyes doesn't take all our coaching staff, because I don't want any of Wigan's.
so if you both believe we can do better, why are you rolling over?
I don't doubt Moyse's judgment (if he said that) but I'm sure he had other people on that list too
Still all paper talk regarding who is leaving the two clubs
How would the Porto guy attract Brazilian players to Liverpool?
easy Fella's

I have seen a few Brazilians in Liverpool.....but not the kind we would see playing football
He won't!! Porto is a club with a history and they have played good football with consistency.
I believe Vitor would be able to push aside a lot of the lower teams that we struggled against under moysee. Forget the top 4 teams for now, it's all of the games we used to get frustrated with.
