Lets see. Griezmann, this Grenier fellow, Varane, Sanogo, Kurt Zouma, Digne, Kondogbia, Cabella, M'Baye Niang, Corchia. They have a lot of good potential in their younger players.

Not sure about the greatest defender ever, but he is certainly going to be world class. I can't actually remember the last terrible game that he's had, if he's even had one at all!

M'Vila is garbage, Capoue is decent, nothing more.

They're producing some very good youngsters. Don't think they'll be on par with their last 'golden generation' with the Zidane's, Trezeguet's and Henry's though...

Varane is absolute class

The thing is their best talents lie in defence. In the next ten years France will have one of the most feared defences in the world. They've also got Pogba, who hasn't been mentioned yet.

Hmmm. Some decent talent there alright but examples dished out in the past like the forementioned M'Vila and Yanga-Mbiwa should give rise for caution.

I like Zouma but he'll have to do a bit more to surpass Kossy for me.

I hate to say it but Varane probably will.

Varane + Koscielny is a dream partnership. It's got everything.

Lloris behind them too. He will be in his prime when they're all mid to late twenties. Wowser.

Don't forget koscielny is approaching 28, I am talking as a long-term partnership for the future

The fact that he plays for Newcastle is irrelevant. Can good players not play for average clubs, AHB?

And he hasn't had a great start to his Newcastle career, that's why he hasn't been in the French squad recently. He was just started to make a case for himself before moving to Newcastle. He's only been here a few months, give him time and he'll shine.

Good players can play for average clubs but it was surprising that he only secured a move to Newcastle when his stock would have been pretty high.

Surely if he was that good he would have been snapped up by a better team with all due respect to Newcastle.

Looks like he might have been over-hyped a tad in his early days.

Sakho looked impressive in the French league for a PSG side who were fighting for a top 6 finish Daz. He's still a good player anyway.
