Rooney will leave your sinking ship of a club.

Nobody is laughing off the notion that we could go backwards. A lot of us have predicted that we'll have a few seasons trophyless and probably without winning the league. It isn't the end of the world...

Like I say, more in hope than expectation, as if United's failings are in some way comparable with your own successes.

Sorry Pride but it's true.

Growing up with Liverpool SO feckin' dominant, I'd have never thought they'd have fallen so far from where they were to where they are now.

In seriousness, Utd and Moyes could well be a great match.

But if it doesn't work out with him, there's no guarantee you won't go through a relatively barren time, no matter how big the club is now.

I think I made the mistake of expecting a reasoned debate. Oh well, I stand corrected. We're clearly going to play hoofball, head in to terminal decline, not win anything for the next 100 years, because that is how long Moyes will be here. We're going to sell all of our best players, and Fabregas is miles out of our league.

Have I missed anything

Rooney is joining Arsenal. Him and Giroud can fight it out for the worst first touch in football.

Jay most United fans are not sensible like you though, for the record I think Moyes is an excellent manager but the success you had under SAF was a freak and can't be repeated. A lot of your fans expect that success as standard, look at how many of them were still moaning about your football even though you coasted the league. they are in for a big surprise imo

Finally Jay has got it now try and explain it to your fellow fans.

Captain Weenie

Welbeck and Hernandez can fight it out for the worse striker in the league. Cleverly may even learn how to pass even if it is long ball.

12 months ago these s were sure that Shrek was better than RVP. Now they think they are coming with statements like this one. Fickle s

No doubt about it 8bit, we're set to lose a lot of glory hunters over the next few seasons. There is no way we'll be as successful as under SAF, and I'd hope that not many expected it.

RGK, I believe you've missed the sarcasm. I will try to explain - For the United fans here who haven't quite got it yet, RGK is a muppet

This shows your ignorance Hernandez scored 17 goals this season and only 2-3 players in Europe had a better goals/played ratio. I wont defend Welbeck's goalscoring (or lack of) though.

Rooney of 12 months ago was better than RvP. Now RvP is better, as Rooney hasn't been very good. Not sure where the problem is with that ^

Most of us are aware of the fact that we are not guaranteed success. A large part of or dominance has been down to SAF and the mentality he has installed in the club. What we do have is a lot of youth coming through who know what we are about, unless something goes drastically wrong we should still be up there. But like I say nothing is guaranteed

There is no 'truth' as you're attempting to predict future events based on your, frankly silly, opinions. We can revisit this article in 2-3 years, and we'll see if any of your predictions come through.

No he wasn't stop talking drivel. RVcant was head and shoulders above any player in the league in 11/12 season.
