I think his move for Martinez has a big influence from.Moyes and the admiration he has for him.

He said he would consult the fans. He said Everton fans are no fools. So in getting Martinez is he now saying Everton fans are massive idiots for not wanting him?
Has he even talked to Martinez yet
Fair point Fellaini. I should said "if he gets Martinez." But it does seem highly likely.
Who would you like to see and why?
Good question. I am fairly open minded about Martinez. (My point about Kenwright still stands. I might not mind but tons of fans seem to and he did say he would take into account our wishes).
I would have thought someone good for a few seasons to 'train' a decent number two from within the club to takeover. Like Pip, Weir or Stubbs. I thought Rafa fit that bill, but was never gonna happen.
My top 2 choices are Laudrop and Pereira. I think they both kind of fit the bill Moyes did 11 years ago. Not entirely proven but show great promise for the future. Obviously without having them in front of you for an interview you can never really tell. Martinez would now be my 3rd choice of the names banded about. Although he's been in Moyes' position at Wigan and didn't do half the job Moyes did with a crud team.
