Learn your history on Bale. It isn't hard.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, a cursory 2 second search should take people to the wonderful tale of how actually Bale didn't turn us down back in 2007, it was Soton who didn't listen to our offer and sent him to Spurs.

You're right, it isn't hard!

I think it is the ' learn your hiostory' on Bale line.

But considering you are one of the most football ignorant posters on here, it is a bit of an ask.

Fabregas has always had 'born loser' written all over him.

Don't want him anywhere near my club

When you're on your period 365 days a year, I think it means you're just a bellènd.

Bale and Fabregas and one of the Benders will do.

I'm not sure Pride is good enough to play in a team with Carrick, RVP, Fabregas, etc

Bale and Fabregas is not very unrealistic. Both of them along with Ronaldo could be a statement of intent by the Glazers.

OOF

Ronaldo coming back to OT is just wishful thinking from our fans. It is not going to happen.

Bale has no rerason to leave Spurs this year, unless Real or Barca come in for him. He didn't want to come to us before, and is highly unlikely to again.

No idea why anyone thinks Fabregas would want to leave Barca to come to United.

You can't afford Bale

From twitter:

"United sources have confirmed to ESPN that there have already been discussions between the club & Barcelona over both Fabregas and Thiago"

I agree. None of them will come due to obvious reasons. But it is hilarious that these rumours come about.

Yes we can. Money is not the problem.

Ronaldo has no reason to return to us now that fergie has retired and real are willing to make him the best paid player in the world

Bale is too expensive. Real seem willing to pay £60mil for him, that means we'll have to pay like £80mil knowing levy (remember modric and Chelsea)

Fabregas has waited years for xavi's decline so he can take over, this is finally happening, he has no reason to leave now

I think we're getting excited over nothing. Every team would be interested in these players, doesn't mean they stand a chance of getting them

Real would probably pay £70m for him such is their desperation for a galactico.

As Smalling Jones points out, Levy tax would make the figure closer to £80m to an English club.

I think it is a sad realisation for the game that players such as Gareth Bale are being touted for 60-80m. He is a top quality player, no doubt. Likely top 10 in the world on form, but 60-80m... It is just ridiculous

I just hope Bale doesn't see the glamour of Real and make a rash decision to join them. Pretty much every British player that has moved to la liga has flopped.

Real don't give you time to adapt and their fans have been far too spoilt with watching world class players grace their ground. Even Cronaldo hasn't managed to get their total approval and he's carried them for the last 3 seasons
